This class will be focused on technique and skill development needed in order to be ready to dance in pointe shoes. It is recommended that students take at least three years of ballet. Dancers who already have pointe shoes are required to bring them to class and practice in them. Dancers who are just starting pointe will begin wearing their regular ballet shoes until approved by their teacher to purchase pointe shoes. Safety of your dancer's shoes, technique, and strength will continually be evaluated/monitored by the teacher.
A short dance will be learned in case the dancers are ready to perform a dance in recital.
