Students in this class will explore the fundamental 3 sounds of the djembe, learn to understand basic music elements (rhythm, dynamics, timing…), physical preparation for playing/safety, and study the histeo-geographical context of the rhythms they are learning. No music experience necessary.
(Additional fee required for drum rental).
