General Student Waiver & Policy Agreement

Welcome to Ethereal Ballroom Dance Centre. We are committed to providing a safe, professional, and enjoyable dance environment for all students and guests.
By registering for lessons, classes, events, memberships, or services through our online portal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms and policies:

Assumption of Risk
Participation in dance instruction, fitness activities, social dancing, competitions, performances, and related activities involves physical activity and inherent risks of injury. By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with these activities.
You certify that you are physically capable of participating and understand that it is your responsibility to consult a physician regarding any medical concerns prior to participation.

Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Ethereal Ballroom Dance Centre, its owners, instructors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, injuries, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of participation in studio activities, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or accidental loss.

Medical Emergencies
In the event of a medical emergency, the Studio may seek emergency medical treatment on your behalf if necessary. You acknowledge that you are financially responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

Studio Conduct
Students are expected to maintain respectful, professional, and appropriate behavior at all times. Harassment, discrimination, disruptive conduct, intoxication, or unsafe behavior may result in removal from classes, events, or termination of studio privileges without refund.

Personal Property
The Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings brought onto studio premises or to studio-sponsored events.

Photography & Media Release
The Studio may occasionally photograph or record lessons, events, performances, or social activities for promotional and marketing purposes. By participating, you grant permission for your image or likeness to be used unless you submit a written opt-out request to the Studio.

Payments, Cancellations & Expiration Policies
Students agree to comply with all current studio payment, scheduling, cancellation, expiration, and refund policies as published by the Studio and updated from time to time.

Confidentiality & Privacy
Students agree to respect the privacy and confidentiality of other students, instructors, and staff, and acknowledge acceptance of all Studio confidentiality and privacy policies.

Policy Updates
The Studio reserves the right to update or modify policies at any time. Continued participation or use of the online portal constitutes acceptance of any revised policies.

Electronic Agreement
By signing up for services through our online portal, you acknowledge and agree that your electronic registration and acceptance constitute a legally binding agreement to these terms, waivers, and studio policies.

This obligation survives termination of membership, employment, partnership, or use of Services.

Services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the participant for the applicable Services during the preceding twelve (12) months.
