Ursula Smith Company, Ursula Smith, The Brown Sugar Nutcracker. reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account, by placing a prominent notice on our site, and/or by updating any privacy information on this page. Your continued use of the Site and/or Services available through this Site after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy.
Commitment Policy
In order to achieve a level of excellence, it is requested that careful consideration be given before making a commitment to our program.
Please count the cost financially and socially, weighing all school and other activities. Realizing that in order for you to get the full benefit of URSULA SMITH DANCE dedication is necessary for proper development. By committing to our program, you acknowledge the importance of prioritizing your training and dance education
Behavior
If a student is misbehaving and not adhering to the rules and regulations of our classes, they will first be reprimanded with the guardian's notification. If it occurs again, the student will be asked to sit down for the remainder of the class. If it occurs a third time, the student will be asked not to return unless accompanied by the guardian. After the third warning, if any other behavioral incidents occur, student will not be permitted to return for the remainder of the semester, or the remainder of the year.
Note: student/parent is still responsible for payment through the dance season.
Health & Injury Awareness
In consideration of the risk of injury while participating in dance (whether joining online classes or in-person) (the “Activity”), and as consideration for the right to participate in the Activity, I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or personal representatives, knowingly and voluntarily enter into this waiver and release of liability and hereby waive any and all rights, claims or causes of action of any kind whatsoever arising out of my participation in the Activity, and do hereby release and forever discharge Ursula Smith Company,Ursula Smith Dance,The Brown Sugar Nutcracker., their affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, staff, volunteers, heirs, representatives, predecessors, successors and assigns, for any physical or psychological injury, including but not limited to illness, paralysis, death, damages, economical or emotional loss, that I/my child may suffer as a direct result of my participation in the aforementioned Activity, including traveling to and from an event related to this Activity. All students/parents should recognize there is a risk of illness or injury inherent in any exercise or dance program. Furthermore, no program of program of strenuous exercise should be undertaken contrary to the advice of a physician or while suffering from ant illness. All students should consult their physician before beginning any program of strenuous physical activity as a dance class.
Payment Policy & Payment Methods
Full payment of tuition and fees is expected by the due date printed on the registration statement for each semester. Ursula Smith Dance Co. accepts cash, personal checks, money orders and credit cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover) as methods of payment. Any checks that are returned for insufficient funds will be subject a $35.00 returned check fee. The subsequent payment must be made by cashier's check, cash, credit card, or money order. If a second check is returned for insufficient funds, the $35.00 fee will be assessed as described above and the individual or entity will not be permitted to write checks to Ursula Smith Dance Co. for a period of no less than 1 year. Other payment options are described below. Ursula Smith Dance Co. also offers a tuition payment plan for the year that allows tuition to be paid in smaller increments. Payments are set up under an automatic payment system from a debit/credit card with payments being deducted according to the plan's due date for the year. Participation in the installment plan requires a current debit/credit card on file; In agreeing to these terms, you authorize Ursula Smith Dance Co. to remit payment. Students must fully enroll in the installment plan prior to their tuition due date to avoid being dropped from their classes, or additional fees. If you find that you will not return after the first semester, students are still responsible to pay for tuition through the remainder of the semester or school year. If a student decides to withdraw their enrollment prior to the beginning of the school year, the student must notify administration in writing to cancel automatic payments, other wise, automatic deductions will occur for the duration of the semester/year. NO refunds will be rendered for any tuition paid due to withdrawal. If a student fails to submit notice of withdrawal in writing, we will assume continuation of enrollment, and student will be responsible for all payments through the remainder of the year. All installment agreements are subject to a $25.00 installment fee, per semester.
