To ensure a safe, smooth, and enjoyable experience for all students and families, please review the following studio policies:
General Conduct
-All students, parents, and staff are expected to uphold a respectful and professional demeanor at all times.
-Disrespect, defamation, or bullying (physical, emotional, mental, or cyber) toward any student, parent, or faculty member will not be tolerated.
-Any such behavior will result in an immediate meeting and may lead to dismissal at the discretion of the Artistic Director.
Drop-off and Pick-up
-Ballet Etude Academy is not responsible for students before or after their scheduled class times.
-Parents/guardians must ensure their child is dropped off and picked up on time.
-In the event of an emergency or delay, please contact the studio immediately at 208-417-8593 so we can care for your child until pickup.
Tuition & Fees
-Tuition and all associated fees must be paid in full and on time.
-Late payments will result in a $10 late fee and/or exclusion from performances.
-Continued non-payment may result in your account being sent to an external debt collection agency at the client’s expense.
Classroom Etiquette
-No class (including private lessons) should be interrupted except in case of emergency.
-Parents should not enter the classroom or approach teachers or students during class time.
-All messages, items, or needs should be communicated through a Ballet Etude Academy faculty member.
-Classroom doors remain closed during class, except during official observation weeks.
Observation Policy
-Observation Weeks occur twice per year— these will be announced as we approach those dates.
-Families are welcome to quietly observe in the classroom during observation weeks. Chairs will be provided.
-If in-person observation becomes a distraction to your student, we ask that you step out and use our video feed instead.
-Parents will receive access to classroom cameras via the WYZE app. Login details will be provided during the parent meeting before each season.
Facility Rules
-Shoes must be worn in all lobby and waiting areas at all times.
-Students may not open windows, as they lead directly to the roof and pose a safety risk.
-Studio cabinets and storage areas are off-limits unless directed by staff.
-Running, roughhousing, and horseplay are not allowed in any part of the facility.
Property & Belongings
-Ballet Etude Academy is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misplaced personal items.
-We strongly encourage families to leave valuables at home whenever possible.
