- The parent or student, if they would like extra help outside of regular class
Private lessons are scheduled based on instructor and studio availability and may not be guaranteed at all times during the season.

- Private lessons are billed at the studio’s current private lesson rate: $40.00 per hour/per dancer
- Payment is due at the time of the lesson unless otherwise arranged.
- Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid being charged for the lesson.
- The instructor will design the lesson to target the dancer’s specific needs, which may include technique, choreography, or recital preparation.
Recital Fee
This season, we are introducing a Recital Fee to help offset the rising costs associated with putting on our annual performance. This fee allows us to maintain a high-quality recital experience for all dancers—complete with lighting, sound, staging, and staffing—without increasing ticket prices for families and guests.
Why a Recital Fee?
As production expenses continue to rise, this fee helps cover essential elements such as:
Venue rental
Lighting and sound technicians
Security
Staffing
Backstage supplies
Recital Programs
By implementing this recital fee, we aim to keep ticket prices affordable while still providing a professional and memorable experience for your dancer.
Fee Details:
$20.00
This is a per-family fee (not per dancer)
Thank you for your understanding and continued support in helping us provide the best possible performance opportunity for your children.
INCIDENTAL / UNEXPECTED FEES
While we strive to be as transparent as possible with our pricing, there may be occasional incidental fees throughout the season related to specific class or performance needs. These are typically small costs and will only apply when necessary.
Possible incidental fees may include:
Costume accessories or adjustments not included in the base costume price
Class props used for recital routines
Shoe customization, such as painting or spraying shoes to match costumes
Specialty items (e.g., hats, canes, hairpieces, gloves) if required for uniformity
Any additional fees will be communicated clearly in advance and kept as minimal as possible. We appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure your dancer looks and feels their best on stage!
WITHDRAWAL & REFUND POLICIES
The Studio V Dance Classes are held from September 15, 2025- June 21, 2026. Please register with the intent to have your child enrolled for the full dance year. To withdraw from a class please notify Miss Mary.
Dancers who withdraw after February 1, 2025 will still be responsible for their costume fees.
NUMBER OF RECITAL ROUTINES
To help dancers stay balanced and avoid burnout, we recommend performing in no more than 8 recital routines, unless routines are split between Show A and Show B. Exceptions may be made for competitive dancers, assistants, or graduating seniors on a case-by-case basis.
Dancers are welcome to enroll in additional classes for training or technique that do not perform in the recital. Keeping performance commitments manageable helps ensure a positive and healthy experience for all dancers!
PARENT PORTAL
Each family will have their own login for the Parent Portal. This is where you will be able to see your balance, pay your tuition fees, pay your costume fees, pay for merchandise, and more. You are still able to pay via check or cash if preferred. Checks/cash can be dropped off during dance class hours or mailed to:
