I agree to release Etudes Ballet School and all associated instructors from liability in the event of injury or death occurring on the premises or at studio-sanctioned events. I understand that dance is an activity which is physically demanding and that injury may occur during participation in dance classes and/or performances. I understand that failure on the part of the student to follow directions given by the instructor or director will increase the chances of the student to be injured. The student will not be permitted to perform moves which the instructor has deemed too advanced or too dangerous, nor will the student purchase or wear pointe shoes without the instructor's written permission. I also understand that it is necessary for the instructor to have physical bodily contact with students in order to effectively direct the correct usage of muscles for correct execution of technique, and that this will be done in a professional, purposeful, and caring manner.

Full-season children’s classes: I have been informed that the total monthly cost I pay covers more than tuition alone. If my dancer drops out of classes before the end of the season, I understand that I may owe a small balance for items or services that my dancer has already used. I understand that we will not owe further tuition as long as the drop happens before the 1st of a given month.
