This fun and engaging beginning dance class introduces dancers to the fundamentals of jazz, and lyrical styles. Students will learn proper dance technique, basic ballet positions, and introductory across-the-floor combinations while also practicing simple jazz and lyrical movements. Each week, dancers will build confidence, coordination, and rhythm as they work on routines they will perform in our Winter and Spring Showcases. We will focus on foundational skills in a positive, encouraging environment. This class is perfect for young dancers who are excited to learn, grow, and have a great time while discovering their love of dance.

Acro Beginning
This exciting class introduces dancers to the fundamentals of acrobatics in a safe and supportive environment. Students will work on flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination while learning beginner skills such as bridges, forward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and basic partner tricks. With an emphasis on proper technique and body control, dancers will gain confidence as they combine acro skills with dance movement. This class is perfect for beginners looking to build a strong acrobatic foundation while having fun and preparing for future growth.

With two performance opportunities in our Winter and Spring Showcases, dancers will gain confidence on stage while building strength, coordination, and proper technique in a supportive, upbeat environment.

This class offers older beginner dancers the opportunity to explore jazz, and lyrical styles in a supportive, encouraging environment. Students will focus on building strong foundational technique, including posture, alignment, turns, leaps, and across-the-floor progressions, while also learning choreography that emphasizes performance quality and expression. Designed for dancers who are new to training or looking to strengthen their basics, this class prepares students for both the Winter and Spring Showcases, helping them gain confidence, artistry, and a lasting love of dance as well as creating friendships.

Students will continue building strength, flexibility, and control while progressing to more advanced tricks such as walkovers, aerial preparations, partner balances, and connecting skills in sequences. Emphasis is placed on proper technique, safe progression, and fluidity of movement so dancers can confidently combine acro with dance choreography. This class challenges students to grow while encouraging creativity, teamwork, and performance quality.

This 90-minute class is perfect for brand-new dancers or returning little ones in their second year of dance! Young dancers will spend 60 minutes exploring the basics of ballet, jazz, and creative movement through fun activities that build coordination, rhythm, and confidence. The final 30 minutes are dedicated to an introduction to tumbling, where dancers practice safe rolls, stretches, balance skills, and beginner tricks to develop strength and body awareness. With plenty of music, movement, and imagination, this class sets the stage for a love of dance while preparing dancers to shine in both the Winter and Spring Showcases.

Emphasis is placed on proper technique, safety, and performance quality, helping dancers seamlessly integrate acrobatics into choreography. This class challenges students to reach new goals while building confidence, creativity, and stage presence.

Friday AM Pre-k Dance & Tumble
This fun and energetic class is perfect for our youngest dancers! Pre-k introduces preschool-aged children to the basics of ballet and jazz through creative movement, music, and playful routines that build coordination and rhythm. Dancers will also explore beginning tumbling skills—such as rolls, balance, and flexibility exercises—in a safe and supportive environment. This class helps develop motor skills, listening, and classroom etiquette, all while encouraging confidence and a love of dance!
