This audition class is open to dancers ages 7 and up who are interested in participating in West Main Studios’ 2026 production of The Nutcracker. All participants must be enrolled in a WMS Ballet class for the 2026–2027 season in order to audition and perform.
Dancers will be considered for specific roles based on age, technical ability, performance quality, and overall skill level.

Mandatory Dress Rehearsal:

Please note that attendance at the dress rehearsal is required. Dancers who are unable to attend the dress rehearsal will not be eligible to perform in the production.
Following auditions, role assignments and casting information will be communicated via email. Once cast, dancers will receive a detailed Welcome Packet and Nutcracker Contract outlining rehearsal schedules, costume requirements, performance expectations, and important production information.
Rehearsals have typically been held every other Friday, with specific rehearsal times assigned according to each dancer’s role(s). A complete rehearsal schedule will be provided after casting is finalized.
Audition Fee: $25.00
