You must be 18 or over to register for an account.

If your dancer chooses to participate in the recital, a costume fee will be charged. Dancers will be sized in September/October
1-2 inches will be added to each measurement (bust, wait, hips, girth)

Costumes will be fitted between March-May.

Dancers are expected to be dressed appropriately especially during these fittings. If their attire is bulky, they will be asked to try on the costume in the bathroom with the assistance of a teacher. Costumes are delicate and many times if not not careful putting them on will tear or pull. If the dancer or parent is not comfortable with this fitting, the parent must e-mail Miss Raquel to make other arrangements.

Costumes are not made to personally fit each dancer. They come in generic sizes.

If your dancer drops the class after costumes have been ordered. The costume may be returned. A $25 fee will come out of your costume credit.

In most cases, Waves of Motion Dance Center will follow the Spotswood, Monroe, and East Brunswick School District closings. It also depends on when the snow removal company can remove the snow and get our parking lot safe for our dancers and their families.

Please check our website, your e-mail, and our social media pages for weather updates by 1 pm. In case, we must close the studio early, a phone call, e-mail and/or text message will be made to the parent/guardian.

I release Waves of Motion Dance Center and premises from all claims for damages to either students or accompanying persons regarding loss of property, accident or injury sustained during or in conjunction with Waves of Motion Dance Center.

If your dancer misses a class, please call or e-mail the studio to arrange a make-up class.

If the studio closes due to inclement weather, and if we are under the 31 lesson, we will schedule a make-up day for all dancers on that day. For example if we close on a Monday because of a snow storm and it puts us at 30 lesson for the season we will open on Monday of Spring Break for make-up class. If we close on a Tuesday because of snow storm and there are still 32 lessons for the season there will be no make-up class.

Studio Closures/Inclement weather are counted into the calendar (31 lessons for the year).

All make-ups must be made up before Memorial Day weekend.

Make-ups are not allowed during Parent Observation week.

There are no refunds or credit for missed classes.

All make-ups must be scheduled prior to attending the class. This helps ensures there is no overcrowding.

If during, recital preparations (Jan-May), the dancer misses 3 or more consecutive classes, their spot may be moved or removed from that section of the dance.

I agree to let Waves of Motion Dance Center use the above registered child's picture on the Waves of Motion website, social media pages, and be used in advertising.

Dancers may be dropped 15 minutes before class.

Parents must arrive 5 minutes prior to end of class.

All children 12 & under must have a parent pick up inside the studio.

Please do not leave your child unattended before or after class. Waves of Motion Dance Center is not responsible for children who leave the premises.

Is an end of the year performance that Waves of Motion Dance Center presents to our studio families. A dance will be choreographed and taught to your dancer's class at the start of the New Year (January). If the dancer and their family chooses to not participate they will still learn the dance and continue participating in the weekly class.

A Recital Fee will be due on April 6, 2026. The fee will cover the Recital t-shirt (worn during our final dance at the end of the recital), dancer's Banquet ticket, and videography of the recital (if more than 1 show is presented at the recital, the videography will be of the show the dancer participates in).

Recital Tickets:
Tickets for our Recital can be purchased online. More information will be available during the early spring time.

Tickets are $30.

Generally, family and friends are welcome to attend the recital.

Tuition Rates
2025-2026

Tuition is a yearly rate based on 31 lessons for the year. Our yearly rate can be broken down into 10 installment payments for the financial ease of our dance families. Tuition is nonrefundable or transferable.

A class must consist of 5 or more students for the class to run. All classes with low enrollment will run until October 30, 2025. After that period we may cancel or merge classes.

The last day to withdraw from a class is October 30, 2025. If you wish to drop a class after October 30, 2025, please notify us by e-mail. A $25 fee will be charged for breaking the 2025-2026 Season 10 Contract. All WMDC families need to have a credit card on file. You may input this in your "Notes" section of your Parent Portal. If the fee is not paid within 30 days, it will be sent to a Collection Agency.

We offer families who Pay In Full before the First Day of Class (September 8, 2025) 10% off. We also offer a Sibling Discount (5%) for the second or subsequent dancer. Lastly, because our family comes from a Military and Police background we offer a Military and First Responder Discount (10%). This discount is offered to all current Military, Veterans, Police Officers, Firefighters, and EMTS. Discounts cannot be combined.

If you are going to pay in 10 Installments, below is your payment schedule. After August 31, 2025 the first and last installments and the Registration Fee are due upon registration. A late fee of $15 will be incurred if payment is not received on time.
