Photo & Media Release
At Storybook Dance Studio, we love celebrating our students and sharing the joy of dance with our community.
By enrolling a student at Storybook Dance Studio, the parent or legal guardian grants Storybook Dance Studio, its employees, contractors, and authorized representatives permission to photograph, video record, and/or audio record the student during classes, rehearsals, performances, camps, special events, and other studio activities.
These images and recordings may be used for lawful business and promotional purposes, including but not limited to:
-Storybook Dance Studio's website
-Social media platforms
-Printed marketing materials
-Advertisements
-Email newsletters
-Studio displays
-Promotional videos
-Educational materials
-Future marketing campaigns
-No compensation will be provided for the use of any photographs, videos, or recordings.
Storybook Dance Studio will never intentionally identify a child by full name in public marketing materials unless separate written permission has been obtained from the parent or legal guardian.
Parents understand that once photographs or videos are published online or on social media, Storybook Dance Studio cannot control how third parties may view, share, or distribute those images.
Opt-Out Option
We understand that some families prefer their child not appear in promotional materials.
Parents who wish to opt out of this Photo & Media Release must submit a written request to Storybook Dance Studio before their child's first class. While the studio will make every reasonable effort to honor these requests, parents acknowledge that complete exclusion from group photographs, recital recordings, or public event footage cannot always be guaranteed.
Ownership
All photographs, videos, recordings, and other media created by or on behalf of Storybook Dance Studio remain the exclusive property of Storybook Dance Studio and may be edited, reproduced, published, or distributed at the studio's discretion for lawful business purposes.
Agreement
By enrolling a student at Storybook Dance Studio, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to this Photo & Media Release.
