By enrolling your child at LSSDance: You agree to our policies, including fees, production requirements, and studio expectations. You acknowledge the risks associated with dance and accept that the studio is not responsible for injuries.
At LSSDance, we rely on timely fee payments to operate as a small business. By enrolling, you agree to honour your financial commitments. Term Fees: Fees are due within 14 days of the term starting. Adjustments are made if class schedules change. Late Fees: If fees remain unpaid, a 10% invoicing fee will be applied. Outstanding Accounts: Fees remaining after the end of term will incur 20% monthly interest until settled. Costume & Production Fees: All outstanding fees must be paid before students can participate in productions. Term Commitment: Classes are a term commitment; fees must be paid even if your child cannot attend every class. Discontinuing Classes: Written notification must be provided to the principal. Without notice, full fees will still apply. Examinations: Students cannot participate in examinations until all fees are paid. Missed Classes: No rebates for missed classes. Make-up classes are available. Responsibility: It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure fees are paid on time. Contact us if you have concerns.
Our yearly productions are a highlight of the LSSDance experience. They require significant planning, costume preparation, and rehearsal. Participation in all required classes, rehearsals, and productions is expected when enrolled. Costume Deposits are due at the end of Term 2. Costumes will not be issued until all fees and costume payments are settled. Each student will have two costumes per class. If you decide not to participate in the production, written notice must be provided before Term 3 begins. Costume payments are non-refundable. Students may continue regular classes even if they do not participate in the production.
To ensure safety and respect for all, students and parents are expected to follow these rules: Wait quietly outside the studio before class. Students may only enter when a teacher allows. Pick up children promptly after class. The school is not responsible for students left unattended. Please notify us if you will be late. While we take every precaution, the school is not responsible for injuries inside or outside the studio. Classes may be changed or cancelled in unforeseen circumstances. Studio floors are closed to onlookers. Open classes may be scheduled during the final week of some terms. Contact us for special arrangements (e.g., visiting grandparents). Beginners’ parents may watch quietly but may be asked to leave if disruptive. Students must arrive on time to participate in warm-ups and prevent injury. Uniforms are required during class for safety and comfort. Dance shoes must not be worn outside. Students and parents must be polite and respectful to staff and other students. Bad language is not tolerated. Food, drinks, and chewing gum are not permitted on the studio floor. Students must bring a water bottle; there are no water taps for refills.
