Terms and Conditions of Enrollment & Privacy Policy - Skye High Burlesque
By enrolling in our classes, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Performance Eligibility :
Students who wish to participate in performances are required to attend a minimum of 50% of scheduled classes within the term. This ensures adequate preparation and group cohesion for all performers.
You are more than welcome to attend classes purely for your own learning and enjoyment, without any obligation to perform.
Please note that your ability to participate in a class or performance is at the discretion of our teaching staff, who are committed to maintaining a positive and safe learning environment for all students. We always consider things like ability, fitness level, any injuries or health concerns, and which class might offer the best support and enjoyment for where you’re currently at.

Enrolment & Fee Policy:
A $25 registration fee per class is required upon enrolment. This fee acts as a deposit and is 100% non-refundable and non-transferable.
A 48-hour cooling-off period applies from the time of enrolment. If you choose to withdraw during this time, only the $25 deposit will be forfeited, and any remaining fees will be removed from your account.
If you drop a class 3 weeks prior to the term commencing, 50% of the remaining fee balance will be removed, and the other 50% will remain payable, regardless of reason.
If you drop a class less than 3 weeks before the term begins or anytime after the term has commenced, the full fee balance remains payable, regardless of reason.
Full fees are payable upon enrolment, regardless of attendance. This enables us to properly plan and deliver quality classes for all students.
There is a strict zero-refund policy, and fees are not transferable to another term.
You are welcome to transfer your enrolled spot to another student if you are unable to attend. It is your responsibility to arrange this and notify us in advance of any changes.
All fees must be paid in full no later than one (1) week prior to the show date. Performers with outstanding balances after this time will not be eligible to perform, unless they are on an approved payment plan.
This policy ensures fairness, allows us to meet minimum enrolment requirements, and helps us continue delivering a high-quality experience for all students.
* In extreme circumstances: such as, but not limited to, major illness or injury - policies may be waived following a direct conversation with our Director.

Payment Plans :
We understand that financial pressures can be a challenge, and to support our community during this time, payment plans are available, via Auto Pay, to help make classes more accessible. If you’d like to discuss options, please reach out to us directly.
*Auto Pay can be set up through your student portal. Click 'pay' at the top of your account, then 'auto pay' in the drop down menu.
.................
Dress Code :
For all classes (with the exception of dress rehearsals), we ask that students wear comfortable, easy-to-move-in clothing, such as activewear. While we celebrate the expressive and creative nature of burlesque, we respectfully request that overly revealing clothing, lingerie, or g-strings not be worn in class unless specifically instructed by your teacher.
This is to ensure that everyone feels safe, respected, and comfortable within the studio environment.
.................
Show Media Policy :
Please note that photos and videos from shows are not included in your class fees.
Skye High Burlesque retains full ownership and rights to all show-related media, including photographs and videos, and reserves the right to use them for promotional purposes across digital and print platforms.

Medical Conditions & Personal Responsibility :
Skye High Burlesque acknowledges that some students may have pre-existing medical conditions or physical limitations. While we encourage open communication and do our best to provide a safe and supportive environment, students participate at their own risk.
By enrolling in our classes, students agree to take full responsibility for listening to their own bodies and working within their personal limits. Skye High Burlesque will not be held liable for any injuries sustained as a result of a student ignoring medical advice, pushing beyond their capabilities, or undertaking movements they have been advised not to perform.
We strongly recommend consulting a medical professional before beginning any new physical activity if you have a condition that may impact your participation.

General Policy :
We take pride in creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive community. However, as a business, we must also apply our policies consistently to ensure fairness for all. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as we continue to provide a high-quality, supportive experience for every student.
