The responsible party also realizes that by enrolling the student in The Dance Factory Dance studio you are signing up for a 9 month dance session (September to May) . If the student chooses to quit dance even one day after October 15th of each year, I am still obligated to cover my monthly tuition through May. The responsible party understands that after October 15th the studio cannot fill the students space in the class because costumes have been ordered, classes have been established and teachers have begun choreography. The responsible party also realizes that every student who quits mid year hurts their progress, but it effect's the entire class.

If you commit to a team ... you are committed for the entire session and this October 1st date does not apply to you.

The undersigned assumes all responsibility for all risks of damage or injury that may occur to the undersigned as a student of The Dance Factory, while attending classes participating in dance or tumbling and using an of The Dance Factory equipment or facilities or following dance class instructions in or out of organized dance classes regardless of the location of such instruction. In consideration of being accepted as a student in The Dance Factory program, the undersigned releases and discharges The Dance Factory, it's owners, employees and agents from all claims, demands, rights of causes of action, present or future, whether known, anticipated, or unanticipated, in resulting from or arising out of, or incident to, the undersigned use (or intended use) of The Dance Factory studio or location, or facilities and equipment in such place or as a result of, or incident to, engaging dance courses exercises or otherwise following The Dance Factory instruction anywhere (including, but not limited to: parades, competitions, workshops travel opportunities, etc...)

NON-NEGOTIABLE ABSENCE POLICY:
I realize that dance is a discipline and commitment and that the student will not get the full benefits unless they make it through an entire season and attend class regularly. I agree that the absence policy must be enforced in order to maintain a disciplined dance studio.

I agree that my "Team" (competition) dancer(s) will not miss more than 5 classes throughout the season (September - May) or they may forfeit their right to perform.

I understand that if my student exceeds the number of absent days allowed without a doctors excuse... they will not be permitted to take part in any competitions or performances for the remainder of the season but will still be expected to take part in class.

I, and my student(s) understand and agree that by signing up for a "Team" class(es) that it is more financially and time consuming and I am aware that extra performances or practices will arise. I am aware I am agreeing to and must sign the Team contract in order for my child to be part of his/her team. I take responsibility to have my child to ALL extra practices and performances. If my child misses a performance or extra practice I am aware that they will face serious penalty or probation which may result in my student(s) being removed from all further competitions and performances without refund.

The Dance Factory does not send out monthly bills. Our service is monthly tuition based and is due on the 1st day of each month. You, the account owner, are aware that the studio is a tuition based service and agrees to make payments on or before the 8th day of each month or I will be required to pay a $15.00 late fee each month per student IN ADDITION to The Dance Factory running the card required card on file on or after the 10th of each month for unpaid tuition and late fees..

If the card on file is declined, and I neglect to pay tuition by the 20th of the month, then my child/self will no longer be permitted to continue taking lessons until the amount owed is paid in full. If I choose to remove my child from any "Regular" non competition classes at The Dance Factory any date AFTER October 1st for any reason, the account owner and responsible party realize that they are still required and agree to pay all tuition through May which is the remainder of the session.

The Dance Factory charges a $30.00 returned check fee for returned checks. After we, The Dance Factory, receive one bad check - from then on we will only accept cash, money order, visa or money order for payment.

The Dance Factory charges a 3% card fee on ALL card transactions.
The Dance Factory charges a 1% ACH Fee on ALL ACH transactions.

The account owner and responsible party also agrees that once the student is measured for costumes, they are obligated to purchase the costume regardless of whether or not the student participates. The account owner also realizes that The Dance Factory and its owner, Gina Underwood, is not responsible for payment of any students costuming, competition fees, or any other accompanying dance fees or costs. I, the parents/guardian that signs this contract is responsible for all payments regarding costuming whether or not I allow my child to finish his/her commitment to The Dance Factory Dance Studio.

SUMMER SESSIONS:
Summer is ran in 3 separate sessions of 3 weeks each. There will be no pro-rating for missed classes. Summer tuition is due prior to the first day of class in each session, in order for your child to attend classes. If payment has not been received your card on file will be run for the tuition amount due.

Summer Registration is a one time $10.00 fee
Fall Registration fees are $35.00 for one student, $60.00 for 2 students, $75.00 for 3 or more students. We are excited to see you this fall!
