I have reviewed the policies of Alexander Academy of Performing Arts (AAPA) and accept responsibility for reading and adhering to all rules and guidelines provided. I understand that AAPA does not issue credits or refunds for any reason, including but not limited to holidays, vacations, illness, weather-related cancellations, or missed classes.
I acknowledge that participation in AAPA activities carries certain inherent risks of physical injury or property loss, and I voluntarily assume all such risks for myself and/or my child. I also give AAPA permission to use photographs of myself or my child, with or without our names, for lawful purposes such as publicity, illustration, advertising, and website content.
I understand that a Registration Fee and a Student Event Support Fee are required as part of my child’s enrollment at AAPA. I acknowledge that the Student Event Support Fee is mandatory for all students and will be charged regardless of whether my child chooses to participate in the associated event(s). I further acknowledge that all account balances must be paid in full for my child to participate in seasonal performances.
I understand that tuition is due on the first of each month, and that late fees will be applied to any overdue payments. I agree to notify the studio in writing if I decide to withdraw from a class or in the event of an absence. I understand that a 14-day notice and completion of the required withdrawal form are necessary when dropping a class. While account credits may be issued, refunds will not be provided for missed classes.
I understand that each student is allowed up to four make-up classes per season per class and that these must be scheduled through the office. We encourage families to make up classes missed.
I acknowledge that e-newsletters are the studio’s primary method of communication. I will make every effort to stay informed by reading posted notices, adding dance@alexanderacademy.info and office@alexanderacademy.info to my email contacts, and reviewing email updates. Additional policy information can be found on the AAPA website.
