Safety and Injury Policy
At Loganville Dance Academy (LDA) and Loganville Dance Theatre (LDT), the health and safety of every student and adult is our highest priority. We are committed to providing a safe, positive, and encouraging environment where every dancer can learn, grow, and thrive. To help ensure the well-being of all participants, please review the following guidelines.
General Safety
Warm-Up & Cool-Down: Students are expected to participate in all instructor-led warm-up and cool-down activities to help prevent injury.
Proper Dance Attire: Students must wear the required dance attire and appropriate footwear for each class. Bare feet are not permitted unless specifically instructed by the teacher.
Studio Environment: Please help us maintain a safe and clean studio by keeping personal belongings organized and walkways clear.
Hydration: Students are encouraged to bring a labeled water bottle to every class and rehearsal.
Injury Protocol
Report Injuries Immediately: If a student is injured or experiences pain during class or rehearsal, they should notify their instructor immediately.
Parent Notification: Parents or guardians will be informed of any injury that occurs during class or rehearsal. Depending on the nature of the injury, the instructor may modify the student's participation or require them to sit out for the remainder of the class or rehearsal.
Return After Injury: Students recovering from a serious injury or surgery may be required to provide written medical clearance from a healthcare provider before returning to participation.
Medical Conditions: Parents or guardians are responsible for informing the studio of any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or physical limitations that could affect their child's participation.
