REFUNDS/ WITHDRAWALS/ MISSED CLASSES: Please notify the studio if your dancer will miss a class. Refunds are not given for missed classes. We always over schedule classes in order to accommodate for snow days, teacher illness or other unforeseen circumstances. If a student wishes to withdraw from dance, please have a conversation with one of the owners. We request 2 weeks notice prior to the next monthly payment to avoid being billed. In the event of a future government mandated shut down, dancers will be provided with a credit on their account for future use.
POTENTIAL ADDITIONAL COSTS: Tuition fees do not include footwear, clothing, or tights. Additional costs may include recital tickets and costumes; choreography or competition fees (for competitive dancers only). Recital costumes will be billed separately for regular season classes. Costumes are for students to keep after the recital are are non refundable.
DANCE RECITALS: The annual recital will take place at the end of May or early June (date to be determined). All students are invited to participate in the recital. It is assumed that all students will participate in the recital unless we are notified otherwise. Any student with outstanding fees as of May 7th will not be permitted to participate in the recital. All audience members, including parents must purchase a ticket to watch the recital.
MANDATORY REHEARSALS: Please ensure that you are aware of any extra rehearsal dates (competitive dancers only). These will be posted online and emailed in advance. Your child may only have a small performance; however they are part of a larger team. Students who miss rehearsals affect the larger group. If you are aware your child will miss a rehearsal, please notify the studio ASAP.
NEWS AND INFORMATION: Boldt will update parents regularly via email and the Boldt private Facebook Group. Please check both on a regular basis. Please notify us if your email address changes.
CONCERNS: If you have a concern please direct it to the Boldt office manager (Joanna), who will assist you as best as possible. If you have concerns about your child's dance education, please choose to address it directly with those who can help, rather than with other parents. Please do not attempt to engage Boldt teaching staff during class time as they are focused on the instruction of your child. Bullying will not be tolerated in any form.
INJURIES: If your dancer becomes injured (either at dance or outside of dance), we may require a medical note before they return to ensure that they have been cleared medically to return to active sports.
