Drop Class Policy

If you wish to drop a class, written notice must be submitted at least 15 days prior to the intended drop date. Notice may be submitted via email to rizeabovedancecompany@gmail.com or through our online student portal.

Failure to provide the required 15-day notice will result in full tuition being charged for the following month, regardless of attendance.

📋 Payment & Auto-Draft Policy Acknowledgment

As part of your registration with Rize Above Dance Company please review and acknowledge the following payment agreement:

💳 Auto-Draft & Payment Terms
• I authorize Rize Above Dance Company to charge my payment method on file for all tuition and applicable fees.
• I understand that:
• My first payment will be drafted within 7 days of registration.
• Monthly tuition will then be auto-drafted on the 1st of each month.
• I agree to keep my payment information up to date and ensure sufficient funds are available.

💸 Late Payments
• I understand that if a payment fails or is not received by the due date, a late fee of $ 20.00 may be added to my account.
• I will be notified via email in the event of a failed or declined payment.

❌ Withdrawal & Cancellation
• I understand that to cancel enrollment and recurring billing, I must provide written notice to rizeabovedancecompany@gmail.com at least 15 days before the next billing cycle.
• I acknowledge that no refunds will be issued for partial months.

By entering Rize Above Dance Studio and participating in classes, rehearsals or events you acknowledge and agree to the following:

We may take photographs and/or video recordings during studio actives for promotional, educational, or archival purposes. These images may be used on our website, social media platforms, print material, or other studio-related content. By being present at the studio, you consent to the use of any photos, or videos taken of you or your chid(red), unless you have opted out in writing.

If you prefer that you or your child not be included in any media, please notify us IN WRITING at rizeabovedancecompnay@gmail.com and we will make every effort to honor your request.

We value your privacy and will never tag or identify students by name without prior permission.

As the legal parent or guardian, I release and hold harmless Rize Above Dance Company LLC from any and all liability, claims, and causes of action whatsoever, related to loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the student or participant, while in or upon the premises or any premises under the control and supervision of Rize Above Dance Company LLC , its owners and employees or in route to or from any of the said premises.

To ensure the safety and well-being of all our students, instructors, and families, we kindly ask that everyone adhere to the following safety guidelines:

Personal Belongings and Dress Code
• No jewelry is permitted in class. This includes bracelets, necklaces, hoop or dangling earrings, rings, and any other accessories that may pose a risk of injury or distraction.
• Proper dance attire is required. Loose clothing, jeans, or inappropriate footwear are not allowed.
• Dance shoes are to be worn only inside the dance rooms. Please have your dancer arrive and leave the studio wearing street shoes and change into dance shoes once inside.

Food and Drink
• No food, gum, or drinks are allowed in the dance rooms at any time.
• Water bottles with secure lids are permitted and encouraged for hydration, but must be kept outside the dance floor area.

Student Supervision and Safety
• Parents of children under the age of five must come to the door of the dance room to pick up their child. Children will not be released without a parent or authorized guardian present.
• Students are not allowed in the dance room without an instructor present unless they have been granted special permission.
• Running is strictly prohibited inside the studio, including hallways and dance rooms, to prevent injury.

Community Events and Parades
• Parents/guardians are responsible for their children at all community events and parades. Instructors and staff are not responsible for student supervision outside of studio classes.

Additional Safety Measures
• All injuries, no matter how minor, must be reported to an instructor or staff member immediately.
• Emergency contact information must be up-to-date and on file with the studio.
• All students must follow instructor directions at all times for the safety of themselves and others.
• Respectful behavior is expected. Disruptive or unsafe conduct may result in removal from class or studio events.

By following these guidelines, we aim to create a positive, safe, and focused environment where all dancers can learn, grow, and thrive.
