Emergence Studio of Performing Arts
Competition Family Account Standards & Past-Due Policy Acknowledgment
2026–2027 Competition Season
Dear ESPA Competition Families,
Emergence Studio of Performing Arts is committed to keeping our programs affordable, sustainable, and accessible to our families. In order to meet studio obligations, pay competition registrations on time, and keep costs as efficient as possible, it is important that all families follow consistent payment standards.
The following account and past-due policies have been established for the 2026–2027 season. Please review this document carefully and sign below acknowledging that you have received, read, and understand these policies.
1. Tuition Accounts - ALL PROGRAMS
All tuition accounts are expected to remain current and in good standing.
A late fee will be assessed once tuition becomes seven (7) days past due.
If the account remains unpaid on the 8th day past due, a formal written notice will be sent to the family.
If tuition remains unpaid at the one-month past-due mark, the student will be removed from classes.
The student may return to classes once the account balance and all applicable fees have been brought current.
We understand that unexpected circumstances can occur. Families are encouraged to communicate with the studio as early as possible regarding account concerns.
2. Competition Fees
Competition fees are due on the 15th of each month according to the competition payment schedule provided to families.
If a family needs to request an alternate payment date or special payment arrangement, they must contact Mrs. Tiffany in advance of the payment due date. Requests will be presented to the Board for consideration. Alternate payment dates or arrangements are not guaranteed and must be approved.
Once a competition fee becomes two (2) weeks past due, the dancer will be removed from the applicable competition and will be unable to compete.
Competition registrations have strict payment deadlines, and ESPA must submit registration fees to competition companies on time to avoid late fees, penalties, or loss of entries.
3. Competition student Costume Fees
Competition costume fees are due September 1, 2026, unless otherwise communicated by ESPA.
If a costume fee remains unpaid two (2) weeks after the due date, the family will receive a separate written notice regarding the outstanding balance and required next steps.
4. Additional Program Fee Policy: All Theatre prop, set, and costume fees; Recreational Dance recital costume fees; and Homeschool Co-Op supply or project fees must be paid in full by the communicated deadline. Timely payment is required so ESPA can order necessary costumes, materials, supplies, props, and other program items on schedule.
If a fees remain unpaid two (2) weeks after the due date, the family will receive a separate written notice regarding the outstanding balance and required next steps.
Why These Standards Are Necessary
As a nonprofit performing arts organization, ESPA works diligently to keep costs as affordable as possible for our dancers and families. Competition companies, costume vendors, and other outside organizations require ESPA to meet firm payment deadlines.
When payments are received on time, the studio is better able to avoid unnecessary late fees and additional expenses and continue keeping program costs as efficient as possible for all families.
Consistent account standards also allow these policies to be applied fairly and equally across the competition program.
