Welcome to Unity Dance Collective! We're delighted to have you and your child join our dance family. Please read and agree to the following terms to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience:

By signing up, you agree to receive communications from Unity Dance Collective regarding class schedules, events, updates, and important announcements. You can opt out of these communications at any time by following the provided instructions.

You understand that participation in dance classes involves physical activity and inherent risks. You agree to ensure your child's attendance, punctuality, and adherence to the guidelines set by the instructors for a safe and productive learning environment.

You certify that your child is in good health and can participate in dance classes. You agree to provide any necessary medical information or updates to Unity Dance Collective.

You grant Unity Dance Collective the right to use photos, videos, and audio recordings of your child taken during classes or events for promotional and marketing purposes. If you do not wish for your child's image to be used, please inform us in writing, or you have the option to opt out below.

Student Registration Fee: $10
Family Registration Fee: $20

Please note that tuition is due on the 1st of every month, and the amount remains the same, regardless of the number of weeks in that month, any holidays, or missed classes. A late fee of $10 will be added to your account if tuition is not paid by the 5th of every month. Payments are non-refundable.

UDC follows the school schedule for Inclement Weather and Holidays except for Halloween, when we will be closed. We consider months with three or more weeks of classes a complete month, and makeup classes will not be scheduled. This acknowledges the consistency in the schedule during such months.
In the event of a class cancellation due to weather with fewer than three weeks in a month, we offer flexible makeup options. Dancers can choose to:
Have the class rescheduled for another day of the week.
Attend an alternative class within the same week.
Your safety is of utmost importance to us, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation during instances of inclement weather.

You and your child agree to treat instructors, fellow students, and staff with respect and kindness. Disruptive behavior that hinders the learning experience or violates the studio's code of conduct may result in disciplinary action.

You agree to ensure that your child wears appropriate dance attire and footwear as specified by Unity Dance Collective. Any required dance accessories or equipment should be provided by you.

Kindly note that it is imperative to notify us promptly if your dancers decide to terminate their classes. To prevent being charged for the upcoming month, it is essential to cancel classes by the 15th of the previous month.

By signing up your child for classes at Unity Dance Collective, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined above. You also acknowledge that dance involves physical activity and inherent risks, and you release Unity Dance Collective from any liability related to participation.

Students should arrive 5-10 minutes before class to get their dance attire and shoes on. Regular attendance is imperative to a dancer’s progress. Refunds will not be given for student absences. Attendance will be taken at every class. Dancers are allowed 1 free absence per month, all other absences need to be made-up.
***A dancer’s presence in class is imperative. Regular attendance builds better technical execution, stage performance qualities and overall confidence.
***Dancers with too many absences too close to recital may be pulled from the performance.
The best way for dancers to learn and polish technique and choreography is to be in class and at rehearsals.

Company Team

Team Members cannot miss two consecutive competition classes, excused or not.
Team Members cannot miss the rehearsal right before a competition or performance.
Teachers reserve the right to remove or replace a team member from a dance due to absence or lack of commitment.

Violations of these rules could be cause for immediate dismissal from that dance, for the duration of the season. Should a dancer be removed from a single dance or the Competition Team due to any team policy violation, any and all fees paid up to that date are forfeited.

I, the undersigned participant or parent/legal guardian of the participant (if participant is under 18 years of age), hereby acknowledge that participation in dance classes, workshops, rehearsals, performances, and any related activities ("Activities") conducted by Unity Dance Collective ("UDC") involves physical activity and inherent risks. I understand and agree to the following:

I am aware that participation in dance Activities carries inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, emotional distress, and property damage. I voluntarily assume all such risks.

I certify that the participant is in good health and capable of participating in the dance Activities. I agree to provide any necessary medical information or updates to UDC.

Release of Liability: I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue UDC, its instructors, staff, volunteers, and partners from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury (including death) that may be sustained by the participant, including any claims arising from the negligence of UDC or its staff.

I grant UDC permission to use photographs and videos taken during the Activities for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation or notification.

I understand that UDC is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage to personal property during the Activities.

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY.

Dear Unity Dance Collective Families,

As we embark on a new dance season together, we would like to take a moment to outline our studio's tuition and cancellation policies to ensure clarity and smooth collaboration throughout the year.

Tuition Fees:

Tuition payments are due on the 1st of each month.
Payments can be made online through our secure portal or in person at the studio's front desk during operating hours.
Late fees will be applied for payments received after the 5th of the month.
Monthly tuition payments are non-refundable.
Tuition is calculated for the entire school year, August–Recital. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, & the length of the month are all factored into the payment schedule. Tuition is not adjusted or prorated for those weeks in which the studio is closed. Make-up classes may be taken at your convenience.
Students enrolled for fall/winter will be automatically enrolled for spring unless a cancellation request is received before December ends.
Auto-Pay Option:
Consider enrolling in our convenient auto-pay option to ensure timely payments and avoid late fees. Details on how to set up auto-pay can be found on our website or by contacting our administration.

Inclement Weather Class Cancellation Policy:

Regularly check email and social media for real-time updates. Ensure your contact info is up-to-date.
In the face of severe weather conditions, we will ensure swift communication regarding any class cancellations or schedule adjustments. Expect notifications via email and updates on our social media channels.

Cancellation Policy:

If you wish to withdraw from a class, you must provide written notice to Unity Dance Collective at least 10 days before the following tuition is due. Refunds for withdrawal will not be granted after tuition is processed.

Unity Dance Collective reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to unforeseen circumstances, including low enrollment or teacher unavailability. In such cases, a makeup class or a prorated refund for the canceled class will be offered.
These policies are designed to maintain a fair and supportive environment for all our dancers and families. Your adherence to these guidelines is greatly appreciated, as it helps us provide the best dance experience for everyone involved.
