Tuition and Auto-Pay
Camp tuition will be due at time of enrollment via auto draft from a credit card or bank account. Credit card or bank draft information must be submitted upon registration through our secure, online payment processing system. Tuition is based on enrollment, not attendance and will be charged regardless of students attendance. No refunds will be given for student absence.

Camp Cancellation Policy
In the event a student must cancel a camp enrollment the parent or guardian must notify TDF by completing an electronic withdrawal form which can be found on www.truckeedancefactory.com. Withdrawal forms may not be supplanted by a verbal notification to a teacher or any staff member of TDF, neither over the phone or in person or any other way besides the electronic withdrawal form.
Cancelations Made 60+ days prior to start of camp date will receive a full refund (minus 10% for online processing fees and admin costs)
Cancelations Made 15-59 days prior to start of camp date will receive a full credit for future camp or class tuition
Cancelations Made 2 weeks or less prior to start of camp date will not receive a refund or credit unless we are able to fill the spot.

Severe Weather Cancellations: In the event TDF closes due to extreme weather conditions, a make up day will be provided. No refund or discounts will be given to monthly tuition fees in response to canceled class based on severe weather.

​Government Mandated Shutdown: In the event of a required closure mandated by a governmental agency or body during the dates of scheduled camps, TDF will provide full refunds.

During Summer ’21 large nearby wildfires impacted air quality in our area. While we’re hopeful that wildfires are less severe this summer, science indicates that wildfire and smoke may continue with prevailing drought conditions in the Western US.

AQI Policy – If AQI levels are 151 or higher at Truckee Dance Factory we will modify activities accordingly to protect campers, by keeping them indoors. Outdoor activities may be rescheduled or canceled to avoid exertion outside.
Ultimately, the decision on whether or not to attend camps is up to each individual family, as you know what’s best for your child.

Camp Make Up Policy:
Due to limited class size for summer camps, no makeups for missed summer camp days will be permitted.

Care of Students: TDF is not responsible for the care and safety of students before or after camp. It is understood that TDF will not be held responsible for supervision outside of the classroom. Young children are not to be left at the school for excessive time periods before or after camp.

Injuries: Parents, legal guardians of minors, and students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on TDF property resulting from normal dance activity or any other activity conducted by the students before, during or after class time or TDF performances or events. I further understand that there are specific risks of physical or property damages, losses, or injury that may result from my or my child’s participation with TDF, and I voluntarily assume the risks associated with such participation.

Emergencies: Parents/adult students are responsible for keeping emergency contact info up to date and accurate within your account. I authorize Truckee Dance Factory and their agents, employees, representatives and contractors, to arrange for or provide such medical assistance to me or my child as any of them deems necessary, and authorize any physician, other medical or paramedical provider, and any medical facility to provide medical or surgical care, including without limitation anesthetization and hospitalization, which any of them may determine to be necessary or advisable, pending receipt of a specific consent from me. If my condition renders me incapable (as determined by Truckee Dance Factory and/or medical provider) of providing a specific consent at the time that medical provider present determines any treatment to be necessary and/or advisable in such the medical provider's sole discretion, I authorize such that I or my child may receive as a result of injuries or illness suffered during my attendance and/or participation in Events or Activities.

Photo/Video Waiver: I understand that Truckee Dance Factory LLC from time to time produces audio-visual programs, promotions, and other materials. I (and my Guardian if under 18) hereby grant Truckee Dance Factory LLC and its agents, successors, assigns and licensees the perpetual right to use the registered dancer’s name, likeness, biographical information, photographs, voice, personal characteristics, and other personal identification (collectively "Likeness") and any digital, videotape, sound and audio-visual recordings in any way (collectively "Recordings") in any and all manner and media, now known or hereafter devised, throughout the world, for any and all purposes including, without limitation, in productions and in connection with the advertising and promotion of productions and/or Company, provided that Truckee Dance Factory LLC is under no obligation to exercise any of the foregoing rights.

Email Communications: TDF will communicate important information such as fee announcements/due dates, class closures/cancellations, etc. primarily through email. Parent agrees to keep email addresses up to date and frequently check for info emails from TDF. TDF does not share email addresses or any private info and will only use such info for communications regarding dance training at TDF.

Children maintaining the highest standard of conduct is required at all times. Using profanity, disparaging dialogues, physical violence or threats during participation in camp is strictly prohibited. Camp rules and instructions of counselors and staff must be followed at all times. The directors reserve the right, at their discretion, to withdraw any camper whose influence or actions are deemed disrespectful, dangerous or who will not follow the rules and policies of the Camp. If this occurs, no reduction or return of fee, or any part thereof will be made.

Electronic Signature Agreement: I am signing this agreement electronically. I agree this electronic signature is the legal equivalent of my manual signature on this agreement.
I have had sufficient opportunity to read this entire document. I have read and understood it, and I agree to be bound by its terms.
