Rules, Terms & Conditions:
Medical Emergency/Medication: The undersigned gives permission to EDA, its owners, administrators, and instructors to seek medical treatment for the student in the event they are not able to reach a parent or guardian. EDA cannot dispense any form of medication.
Withdrawal and Refunds: The full dance season runs August to June and students benefit from participation for the entire season. Dance is a sport that requires consistency for growth to occur. If, for whatever reason you decide not to participate in the entire season, you will be responsible for the remaining balance of the semester tuition when you withdraw. When dancers leave mid-semester, it does affect the rest of the dancers and the teacher in the room and so we try to avoid that when at all possible to ensure success for all. The semester terms are August-December and January-June. At any point, you can request the withdrawal form by emailing yourfriends@elitedanceacademy.net. You must complete it and then our staff will finalize the withdrawal and charge the remainder of the semester tuition to your account. Elite Dance Academy reserves the right to terminate lessons to any students without notice. In such a case a refund for unused lessons will be given. All other sales for tuition, costumes, etc. are non-refundable.
Priority Automatic Enrollment: For your convenience, and to reserve a space for the following season, annual membership fees will be automatically renewed and applied to your account on May 1st unless a withdrawal form is completed in the studio before that date.
All Studio Nutcracker & Recital: All students that are in classes that perform in our shows are automatically registered for the annual Nutcracker in December and Recital in June. It is understood that if you do not complete the form by September 30th/January 15th you will be responsible to pay for participation (you can see more in billing authorization).
Punch Cards: Voluntary Nutcracker and Recital participation is offered to those students registered and paying monthly tuition. Punch card holders are allowed to participate in all dance classes but not offered Nutcracker or Recital participation. All punch cards have an expiration date from the date of purchase.
Studio Logistics: No food, gum, or open liquid containers are allowed inside the studios. Please, no powder or talc on the floors. Be careful when using body oils and lotions as they transfer to the studio floors and make them slick. No observers allowed in the classrooms. Cell phones and smart watches are not allowed in the studios. Please silence cell phones that are left in the student lounge. Still cameras, video and sound recorders are not allowed at any time. Elite Dance Academy is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Personal items left behind are placed in the lost and found bin, which will be emptied and donated intermittently.
Tardiness/Attendance/Check In: All students must check-in with the front desk before taking any classes. Students arriving more than 15 minutes late to class must have permission from the instructor to participate. Stretching is done at the beginning of all classes and if dancers are not properly stretched, they can severely injure themselves. Elite Dance Academy does not offer make up classes for any missed during the monthly commitment. This is due to full classes, and each class being at different stages of instruction. If an extended absence is required, withdrawal paperwork must be filled out OR you can opt for one of our alternate participation methods such as punch card, drop in, etc.
