Designed especially for 2-year-olds, this joyful class introduces movement, music, and imagination in a nurturing and playful environment. Through music, props, and guided activities, we encourage creativity, listening skills, and social interaction—all while having so much fun. This class focuses on developing a love for movement and learning how to participate in a structured setting, making it a wonderful stepping stone into future dance classes. This class meets for 30 minutes each week. To support independence and classroom focus, this class is designed for dancers to participate on their own without a caregiver in the room. We know this is a big step for some of our youngest dancers—and that’s okay! If your child isn’t quite ready for independent participation yet, we offer other class options that include caregiver involvement to help ease them into the dance experience.

Age 18 months - 3 years - Bright Beginnings: Dance with Me (Parent/Tot)
Offered to children currently 18 to 36 months. A fun, energetic class for parents/guardians and their young toddlers focusing on gross motor skills and musicality. Children will learn how to participate in a group and take direction from a teacher. One caretaker is required to participate in the classroom, where they are engaged for the entirety of the class. They help move and assist the young dancers' bodies into movement, guide their steps and locate themselves spatially as we move ourselves around the room. Children are encouraged to participate in class, but are not forced to do so. As each child develops differently, patience on the part of the caretakers, as well as the child is stressed. Our goal is to prepare the children to be more independent. This class is the perfect introduction to our Twinkling Stars classes for 2 year olds the following year. This class meets for 30 minutes each week.
