Morton Street Dance Center, Inc.
2026–2027 Dance Season Contract
Waiver, Release, and Acknowledgement of Policies and Procedures
I have read and agree with the terms of this contract and, for due consideration, agree to engage Morton Street Dance Center for dance instruction and agree with the policies, procedures and calendar stated herein and in the Handbook, which is incorporated herewith.
Pre Professional Track - 10-Month Program Commitment
Students in the Pre Professional Track are registered for the 10-month program, full dance season. Once registered, you are responsible for your full accrued and unaccrued tuition for Morton Street Dance Center’s ten-month program, as well as any related registration charges, costumes, or late fees. There are no refunds.
In the event of withdrawal before the completion of the 10-month term, the remainder of your account balance must be paid in full within 30 days. After 30 days, unpaid balances are subject to collections.
Enrichment Track: Enrichment and Sampler Classes
Enrichment classes include full season and short session classes. Enrichment Track students are not eligible to participate in the annual Spring Production.
Acknowledgement:
☐ I understand that Pre Professional Track is a 10-month commitment and Pre Professional dancers are eligible to participate in the annual Spring Production. I further understand that Enrichment Track students are not eligible to participate in Spring Production. I agree to pay for the full tuition for the session I register for as noted in Studio Pro (the payment ledger is incorporated herein) and I agree to abide by the terms and conditions set forth herein and in the Student and Parent Handbook which is incorporated herein.
Written formal notification is required to withdraw and avoid incurring future fees.
If a dancer’s costume has already been ordered at the time of withdrawal, Morton Street may attempt to cancel the order. If cancellation is not possible, you remain responsible for costume costs incurred.
Registration and Payments
A non-refundable deposit is due at registration to reserve a space in class(es).
There are two (2) registration tiers: VIP and Standard, each with different access dates for registration. VIP members receive the earliest access for registration.
At registration, dancers in the Pre Professional Track are responsible for:
$65 registration fee (waived for VIP members) and $50 costume deposit per class.
The first month’s tuition is due by September 1st, or in event of a late registration one week before the start of your class.
Enrichment Track students in a full season class are responsible for the $65 registration fee. The first month’s tuition is due on September 1st or one week prior to the start of your class. Enrichment students in short sessions must pay the full option upfront.
A valid credit or debit card is required on file for all accounts. You may opt to pay via ACH, but a credit card is still required on file.
All students must be enrolled in the Auto payments program. Auto pay begins on October 1, 2026, and runs through April 1, 2027 (or September 1 if on a 9-month plan that begins in August).
Declined/incomplete payments result in a $40 late fee after 5 days.
Reinstating a declined autopay account incurs a $40 reinstatement fee—no exceptions.
A 3% surcharge fee applies to each credit card payment. A 1.2% surge-charge fee applies to ACH payments.
Acknowledgement: (MOVE THIS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT—SEE BELOW)
☐ I understand and I am committing to pay all tuition and fees for the class(es) for which I register.
Costume balances are due by February 13, 2027. Late payments may affect receipt of costumes.
Account Standing & Late Fees
Accounts with outstanding balances after April 3, 2027 will be assessed a $50 late fee on April 3 and on the 1st of every month thereafter until paid in full.
Costumes and accessories will not be distributed to students with unpaid balances.
Families with balances will also be ineligible to purchase program ad space.
