Changes and Withdrawals: 30-Day Notice Policy
If you would like to request a withdrawal or change in your schedule, please provide a 30-day written notice by completing this Withdrawal/Change Request Form in order to not be charged before the next payment.
-- All withdrawal/change requests must be submitted through the official form.
-- Tuition is processed on the 1st of each month, the form must be submitted no later than the 1st of the previous month. Changes submitted with less than 30 days’ notice will take effect for the following billing cycle. Tuition already charged is non-refundable.
-- *Dancers are still considered enrolled (and responsible for tuition) until the 30-day period is complete.
-- For our Primary Division, you must complete this form if you would like to withdraw from spring session by December 1st. Otherwise, your dancer’s spot will be held and you will be automatically enrolled in spring session! Tuition payment will be charged on January 1.
-- Boulder Ballet reserves the right to withdraw any student who has not adhered to school policies on our Family Resource Site. In such cases, the student is still responsible for all tuition and fees due.

If a Primary Division student discontinues before the third class of fall session, a prorated refund will be given (written notice must be given before third class). Primary Division students who do not wish to continue for spring session must submit the Withdrawal/Change Request form by December 1st. Otherwise, your dancer will be enrolled in our spring session and your tuition payment will be charged on January 1. If a Primary Division student NEW to BBS for spring session discontinues before the third class of spring session, a prorated refund will be given (written notice must be given before third class).
Refund Policy
Registration fees are non-refundable. If a withdrawal occurs after the third class in any division, tuition already paid is non-refundable. For Junior and Senior Division, monthly payments will continue as scheduled in accordance with the 30-Day Notice Policy (see above).
Make-Up Classes
If a dancer misses a class, they can take a make-up class anytime during the current session. If they already take all of their classes in their level then they can make-up a class in one level below. Please contact the Office Manager (beth@boulderballet.org) to schedule a make-up class.
School Closures
Our winter weather closure policy is that the school closes if BVSD has a snow day. If BVSD cancels after school activities, we will make appropriate decisions on a case-by-case basis. We will post this on our website and social media platforms, send out an email, and leave a message on the school’s voicemail. No refunds will be given for school closures due to weather. Dancers are welcome to arrange a makeup class.
