Gabriela & Carlos
Part of our Summer Saturday Series, this workshop will begin with a 90-minute pilates warm-up that will bring awareness to your feet and ankles, and connect them to the center of your body. We'll begin with exercises to improve foot and ankle mobility, strengthen turnout, increase body awareness, and build a stable base. We will methodically ascend, integrating the legs, hips, strengthening the core, and finishing with a strong, mobile upper body. We will detail the body from the bottom up.

The workshop will continue with a deep learning of latin dance from Gabriela Gonzales & Carlos Cortes. Gabriela and Carlos are professional Salsa dancers who recently partnered up to compete and perform internationally in the On2 category. In their first year together, they have placed in the finals in the professional category at every competition they’ve entered, including major events in Mexico and New York. Both are multiple-time World Champions and have spent years competing as soloists, developing strong individual styles and technical mastery. They not only teach locally at studios, but also travel to teach at dance conventions and perform worldwide, sharing their expertise and passion for Latin dance with dancers around the world.
