STUDIO K RULES AND POLICIES Dance studio rules are for the benefit of all students and families. We emphasize the consistent practice of dance class, performance etiquette and dress code. We reserve the right to refuse enrollment to students at our discretion. This is a decision that will be approached with careful consideration and will be expressed confidentially to the parent. Examples of such circumstances may include but not limited to: Outstanding tuition balances Disruptive behavior ATTENDANCE Students are encouraged arrive 10-15 minutes before class to allow time to use the bathroom, dress, remove jewelry, and neatly put hair back. In the case of inclement weather, we will follow District 206 public school closings. No refunds will be given due to cancellations. Please refrain from bringing your child to dance if they are sick with a contagious illness. STUDIO RULES Students must be dressed properly, tie up hair neatly, and remove jewelry for EVERY class. Students and parents are responsible for their belongings. Do not bring valuables into the studio or waiting area. Studio K is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misplaced property. Student cell phone are not allowed in the studio. NO gum, food, or drinks other than water permitted in the studio. NO parents/caregivers/siblings in the studio while class is in session unless granted permission from the teacher. Parents may NOT yell or give corrections to students during class time. NO hanging or climbing on the ballet barres. CLASS ETIQUETTE Be appreciative of corrections and apply them. Be kind to your classmates. Rudeness is unacceptable. BILLING OBLIGATIONS Tuition must be paid in full for the session unless prior arrangements have been made. If tuition is more than 90 days late past the recital date, your bill will be sent to a collections agency.
