Beginning Ballet Technique
Introduce your little dancer to the beautiful art of ballet! This class will enhance your child's coordination, balance and flexibility with the teaching of basic ballet positions, steps, and terminology through standing barre work and simple center floor exercises. Your child will also enjoy simple and fun exercises in creative dance and music exploration.
Dress code:
Girls: leotard, ballet pink tights and pink ballet shoes -- hair must be pulled neatly away from face in a ponytail or ballet bun
Boys: white t-shirt, black shorts or pants and black ballet shoes

Your child will develop a clear understanding of tap rhythms, movement quality, leaps/turns and flexibility.
