While enrolled in classes at Center Stage, my child(ren) and I agree to:

Abide by the rules of Center Stage Dance studio, and the rules of Trinity Nazarene Church
Show respect for Center Stage staff, including volunteers and assistants
Show respect and kindness to fellow students and parents
Refrain from bullying, harming, threatening, or humiliating anyone at the studio
Refrain from using foul language in class
Refrain from any inappropriate physical contact with other students, and from romantic or sexual displays of affection while on the premises, and during any activity with Center Stage
Refrain from the use of alcohol, smoking of any kind, and drug use while on the premises, and during any activity with Center Stage
Refrain from using parts of the building that are off limits during classes. This includes the Children's Church area and it's attached rooms, and the downstairs portion of the church building
Dress appropriately for class, according to the provided dress code
Refrain from bringing and using electronics in the studio during classes (cell phones, tablets, phone watches, music players, etc)
Pay tuition on time at the beginning of each month, September thru May. I understand that repeated failure to pay on time may result in the termination of my enrollment
Bring concerns to the teachers' attention in a kind and understanding manner, and at an appropriate time. I will not interrupt a teacher's class to speak with them unless it is an emergency
Be on time to classes, and pick up my child(ren) on time after classes are finished
Supervise my child(ren) while not in classes on the premises

Attendance: A total of 8 absences for the year are allowed. It’s up to you to keep track of your child’s absences. After more than 8 absences, the student will not have the opportunity to promote to the next dance level the following year, or to participate in our yearly ballet (this is a separate show from recital.) This will also affect their ability to participate in the dance recital. This applies to missing recital without prior notice. Students who are 15 minutes late or more to class will be marked absent. (If an ongoing illness or family matter causes multiple absences, we'll be glad to discuss this with you and make provisions). 8 is the absolute maximum, and we do not like for students to miss this many classes.

Dress code: Every student is expected to follow our dress code at each of their classes.

Payments: Tuition is due the first full week of each month, no exceptions. A fee of $12 will be applied to late payments per month. Please be considerate and pay on time. Repeated late payments will result in termination of enrollment at Center Stage. For those enrolled in Auto Pay, tuition is processed on the first Monday of each month. If the transaction fails to go thru 3 or more times, the family will be removed from Auto Pay, and will have to pay manually by the due date.

-Students ages 5 and under- a parent or guardian over 18 must remain at the studio during classes, and during any gaps between classes.
-Students in Beginner thru advanced/master levels can be dropped off for classes, or parents may wait at the studio. Please be on time to pick up your child(ren) from class.
-Students under 10 must have a parent present to supervise during gaps between classes. If we observe that a child/student under 10 is regularly without supervision in the waiting room, their parents will receive a message from Miss Liz. If this continues to be an issue, the family will be dismissed from the studio, as this is a liability for us.

-We are not responsible for students outside of the studio rooms. This applies to siblings or anyone who accompanies you to dance. Parents/guardians are responsible for child(ren)'s safety and behavior at all times. Please remember to clean up after your family before you leave. -The waiting room and the studios are the only spaces we have permission to use at the church. Please do not use other rooms while you are waiting for your child.

Building rules: Trinity Nazarene Church, where our classes are held, has been very generous in allowing us to rent space from them. Center Stage does not own any part of the building, we only rent space from them. Please respect our rules, and use only the parts of the building designated for dance: The waiting area and the studio spaces. The adjacent upstairs rooms and the downstairs portion of the building are off limits unless otherwise specified. Please discuss this with your kids, and with anyone who brings your children to dance.
