This original Contemporary Ballet, now celebrating its 5th season, was created and choreographed by SM Dance. Each year, the performance is paired with the Heather Moore Foundation Gala, offering our students the opportunity to grow not only as performers, but also as compassionate individuals working toward a meaningful cause.

The Dreamer invites you to journey through the imagination of a young girl whose favorite pastime is reading in the woods. As the chapters of her book unfold, a storm approaches, sweeping her into a dreamlike realm. The forest awakens, and she encounters the elements of earth, air, fire, and water—each revealing the beauty and power of nature. Will she trust the path before her and open her heart to what the universe has to offer?
This uplifting performance is a celebration of artistry, resilience, and wonder—perfect for anyone who has ever dared to dream.
