Giggles & Wiggles is a fun class that introduces young children to the fun and exhilaration of moving to music. Our patient instructors engage the child's creativity with energetic music, while focusing on the fundamentals of ballet movement. We use tutus, wings, ribbons, tiaras and many other props to stimulate the imaginations of our little ones! This :30 class is a non-performing class, for dancers not quite ready to memorize choreography, or for those who want ballet training without a performance.

NOTE: If you are deciding between Giggles and Wiggles and Creative Dance, know that Giggles and Wiggles students are given more time to complete activities, while Creative Dance students are usually able to follow instructions with little delay.

Your child should be able to sit down, stand up, go to a dot, stand on/near that dot when instructed, etc. If your child is not ready to follow basic instructions, as much as any child of this age can follow instructions, :) and runs wildly around the studio, screams, or is otherwise very distracting to the others in the class, we may bring them out to the parent for a chat to help them refocus. If this continues repeatedly, we would love to chat about holding off and offering a complimentary class in the future when they are more ready to follow along...:)

We perform exercises to develop coordination, flexibility and strength; all while dressing up, using imaginative props, and having fun!

NOTE: If you are deciding between Giggles and Wiggles and Creative Dance, know that Giggles and Wiggles students are generally given more time to complete activities, while Creative Dance students are usually able to perform activities with little delay.

Your child should be able to sit down, stand up, go to a dot, stand on/near that dot when instructed, etc. They will be taught how to stand in line, wait their turn, keep their hands to themselves, and should learn this pretty readily. If your child is not ready to follow basic instructions, it is probably best to move them into Giggles & Wiggles. If they run wildly around the studio, scream, or is otherwise very distracting to the others in the class, we may bring them out to the parent for a chat to help them refocus. If this continues repeatedly, we would love to chat about holding off and offering a complimentary class in the future when they are more ready to follow along...:)

Dress code: pink leotard, pink tights, pink shoes with bows tucked in, and hair in a bun.
