This class is a transition class from our First Position class. Students in this class will receive a combination of modern, jazz and ballet dance techniques. Each discipline will focus on stretching, balancing, creating body shapes, creative movement and exploring various dance phrases. Our young dancers will perform 3 dances (modern, jazz and ballet) in our annual dance recital.

Sr. Pro Modern
This class introduces teens to the expressive style of modern dance, blending technique with a focus on the Horton dance technique,, creativity, and athletic movement. Dancers will explore floor work, dynamic use of space, and improvisation while building strength, flexibility, and coordination. With an emphasis on self-expression and storytelling through movement, students will gain confidence, artistry, and a deeper understanding of contemporary dance.

Sr. Pro jazz
This upbeat class focuses on classic and contemporary jazz dance technique, blending sharp, dynamic movement with fluid style. Teens will work on strength, flexibility, turns, jumps, and performance skills while learning fun, high-energy combinations. The class emphasizes musicality, stage presence, and confidence in movement, perfect for dancers who love both technique and expression.

First Position
This wonderful class is designed for children who want to dance but are not quite old enough to withstand long hours in individual dance classes. Young dancers are given the opportunity to learn three dance styles in our 1 hour combo class. Dancers will develop gross motor skills as they learn balance, movement, coordination, flexibility, self-expression and rhythm in our First Position combo class that offers basic ballet, jazz, and West African dance foundations. Each class ends with a 5 minute yoga practice to calm and rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit. They will perform 3 dance routines in the annual recital that will reflect the skills learned in all three dance disciplines.

Sr. Pro Ballet
This class focuses on developing strong ballet technique while fostering artistry and musicality. Teens will work on posture, alignment, flexibility, and strength through barre and center exercises, as well as across-the-floor combinations. Emphasis is placed on building grace, control, and discipline, while also encouraging self-expression through classical movement. Perfect for both dedicated dancers and those continuing to build their foundation.

Jumpin Jr. Modern!
This class introduces young dancers to the foundations of modern dance through a codified dance technique, floor work, and dynamic use of space. Students will explore strength, flexibility, and coordination while learning to express themselves through movement and storytelling. The class encourages creativity, confidence, and artistry in a supportive environment designed for growing dancers.

Sassy Senior Ballet
Students will learn classical ballet techniques and terminology. Each class includes barre exercises, center floor work, and across-the-floor combinations. As students progress through each level curriculum will become increasingly more complex and intricate.

Sassy Senior Modern
This class draws on many styles of classical modern dance such as Graham and Horton techniques. Dancers will learn contractions, spirals, flat backs, laterals, basic floor work, and concepts of space, time and force developing technical proficiency, musicality, and rhythmic accuracy. Technical exercises will improve dancers terminology, full-body fluidity, artistic expression and dynamic.

Jumpin" Jr. Jazz
Jazz class will focus on the fundamentals of proper jazz dance technique. An emphasis will be placed on body part isolations, turns, jumps, and traveling across the floor. Students will learn how to improve performance quality and learn simple rhythms and patterns. Dancers will be exposed to various styles of jazz such as Broadway, Street and Contemporary to help develop a well rounded dancer.
