Are you ready for an opportunity to work on your ballet technique and improve your skills? This new program is designed especially for dancers ages 8-12 years old. The day will begin with a 30 minute body conditioning to strengthen and stretch, a 2 hour ballet technique, Pre-Pointe and Pointe class, a choreography session, and handcrafts. Dancers will enjoy an extended lunch outside on the big field to get fresh air and relax.

Dance Camp 101 is a young dancer's first intensive to introduce them to the excellence of studying classical ballet. We will improve their technique, try new styles, and increase discipline in an inspirational and nurturing atmosphere. Dance Camp 101 begins with an extended ballet class that includes stretching and conditioning. Dancers will experience hip hop, jazz, and learn choreography to be presented at the end of the week. Visual arts, music, and outdoor free play will complement the dance curriculum and weekly themes.

Dance Camp 101 is a young dancer's first intensive to introduce them to the excellence of studying classical ballet. We will improve their technique, try new styles, and increase discipline in an inspirational and nurturing atmosphere. Dance Camp 101 begins with an extended ballet class that includes stretching and conditioning. Dancers will experience hip hop, jazz, and learn choreography to be presented at the end of the week. Visual arts, music, and outdoor free play will complement the dance curriculum and weekly themes.

Each day begins with a structured pre ballet class, followed by opportunities to explore other dance styles like hip hop and jazz, all while getting plenty of fresh air and exercise during outdoor play in our large field.
Every week, we dive into a unique theme that inspires our dancing, art projects, and games. The week wraps up with a special performance on our outdoor stage, where dancers can share their progress and creativity with family and friends!
