Thursday, Pre-Pointe
Pre-pointe class is designed to develop strength and technique that is necessary for pointe work. Included are special exercises for building strength and flexibility in the feet, ankles and legs. Focus is also placed on developing core strength and proper alignment. Class will include a variety of exercises on the floor, at the barre, and in center floor to prepare students so that they may safely and successfully begin pointe work.
To help students make a smooth and gradual transition into beginning pointe, special pre-pointe shoes are worn during pre-pointe training.
*MUST BE INVITED BY DIRECTOR TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CLASS*
