If your dancer thrives on stage and dances for the performance, CDA's Elite Team may be for her! Being an Elite Dancer requires a strong commitment not only from the dancer, but even more so from her parents. In addition to required classes, choreography sessions and extra rehearsals, Elite Dancers will attend at least three regional competitions and one convention between January-April/May. These competitions typically require overnight stays Friday-Sunday. There is the possibility of attending a national competition in the Summer, which also requires summer rehearsal sessions.
Dancers interested in CDA's Elite Competition Team MUST...

* Register for and Attend an Evaluation Session in the appropriate level.

This meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16, 2024, and will give you a more detailed outline of the commitment and cost involved.

This evaluation is for all dancers who feel they are ready for a more difficult curriculum and/or would like to be considered for dances CDA's elite are taking to competition next season! They will audition with their showcase dances, so practice that and work hard in class.
LEVEL UP: If your dancer is going into Kindergarten next school year, this audition will help evaluate her skill level to see if she will thrive in a more advanced and mature class. It is possible to advance early if your dancer meets all expectations and shows maturity, but it is not broadly encouraged to rush through your dance training.
