Open to current Surrendered School of Dance Ballet Foundations students, this mini intensive is a wonderful opportunity for dancers to continue building their skills as the school year comes to a close.
Each day, students will participate in a ballet technique class along with an additional class that may include styles such as hip hop, contemporary, variations, and more. Our goal is to provide a fun, uplifting week of training that supports both student growth and family values.
Classes will be taught by dancers from Paradosi Ballet Company.
If a hip hop class is included, the music used will be age-appropriate and Christian.

Students explore movement through imaginative prompts, rhythm exercises, and age-appropriate ballet vocabulary, deepening their musical and expressive range. With continued emphasis on etiquette and foundational technique, dancers develop flexibility, coordination, musicality, and grace.
Additional Notes:
• Students must be at least 8 years old to enroll in Ballet Foundations.
• If a student turns 8 during the second half of the school year, they will remain in Primary Ballet through the end of that school year and may advance the following fall.
• Multiple weekly classes are encouraged but not required.

• Advancement to Intermediate Ballet A is based on demonstrated mastery of the skills and concepts presented in this level.
• This class is intended for minor students only.

This class requires a minimum enrollment of 4 students in order to run.
Requirements:
• Open to approved students in Intermediate Ballet C and above.
• Must be enrolled in at least 3 ballet technique classes per week.
• This class does not perform in showcases.
• Dancers may remain in this level for 2 or more years.

Ballet Foundations introduces students to formal classical ballet training. This level bridges imaginative movement with structured technique. Emphasis is placed on correct posture, ballet vocabulary, body alignment, strength, and coordination. Dancers begin building the discipline required for advancement in classical ballet.

• Advancement to Intermediate Ballet A is based on demonstrated mastery of the skills and concepts presented in this level.

Teen/Adult Ballet – Session 1
• Session Dates: September 16 - October 21, 2026
• Registration for this Session CLOSES the Friday before the start of the session at 5:00 PM.
• Registered students will receive an email confirming whether the class will run or be canceled for the session based on final enrollment.
• Day & Time: Wednesday at 7:00 PM
• Ages: 13 – Adult
Teen/Adult Ballet (Ages 13–Adult)
This class is a welcoming ballet class for teens and adults, built around strong technique basics and healthy movement habits. We focus on posture and alignment, core support, turnout placement, coordination, and musicality through clear instruction and approachable combinations.
As a Christ-centered school, we may use worshipful or uplifting music in class and we aim to cultivate an encouraging environment marked by respect, kindness, and support. When appropriate, brief prayer and encouragement may be offered for those who desire it.
New dancers are welcome, and returning dancers will find it a solid weekly technique refresher and maintenance class. We will focus on fundamentals without the intensity of an intermediate/advanced track.
Class is taken on flat (not en pointe).
Additional Details:
• Classes run in 6-week sessions
• Each session consists of six 1-hour classes.
• Registration is separate for each session and must be completed by the session deadline.
• A minimum of 3 students is required for the session to run.
• Once a session begins, contributions are non-refundable.
• This class does not participate in the school showcase.
• Class is taken on flat (not en pointe).
• By enrolling a minor student, you acknowledge and accept that the class may include adult students over the age of 18.
Note:
• Whether you attend all six classes or miss classes due to illness, travel, or other commitments, the contribution request remains the same.
• If only two students register, the session will not run, and everyone will be refunded any pre-payments that were made before the first class.
• Please consult with a physician before starting this or any other fitness program, especially if you have pre-existing health concerns or injuries. Participation is at your own risk.
