This class focuses on refining proper body alignment, strength, flexibility and control while building confidence in executing clean turns, powerful kicks, and dynamic leaps. Dancers will learn combinations across the floor and in the center, preparing them for more advanced choreography in jazz lyrical and musical theatre classes.

Hip Hop 1.5 builds on foundational hip hop technique while introducing more complex choreography, musicality, and performance skills. Dancers will explore a range of hip hop styles- including grooves, isolations, footwork, and basic freestyle - white improving stamina, rhythm and confidence. This class moves at a faster pace than Hip Hop 1 and prepares students fo intermediate-level work. Students should be comfortable with basic hip hop vocabulary and ready to pick up choreography with more detail and style.

Prerequisite: Hip Hop 1 or instructor approval.

Dancers will explore emotional storytelling through movement while developing greater precision, control and creative expression.

Classwork incudes complex phase work, improvisation tasks, and choreography that integrates ballet, modern, and hip hop influences. Students are expected to retain and perform choreography with increasing nuance and confidence.

Prerequisite: Contemporary 1 and 1.5 or instructor placement.

Acro 1 is an introduction to foundational acrobatic technique for dancers.
Acro 1 focuses on building strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through beginner-level acrobatic skills. Dancers will learn proper technique for forward rolls, cartwheels, handstands, bridges and other fundamental tricks in a safe, supportive environment. Emphasis is placed on body alignment, control. and injury prevention.

This class is perfect for dancers who are new to acrobatics or what to reinforce their basics before moving to more advanced skills. Conditioning and stretching are included in each class to support healthy skill progression.

Body Alignment beginner intermediate class refers to the ideal positioning of the body parts in relation to each other, allowing for optimal balance, strength, and movement efficiency. Proper alignment means the head, shoulders, spine, hips, knees and ankles are stacked correctly, which helps prevent injury, improves posture, and enhances overall performance especially important in dance, sports and fitness.

Dancers explore movement through contraction and release, fall and recovery, and improvisation, often emphasizing emotional connection and storytelling through the body.
