Minis Intro to Percussive Footwork & Hip Hop
This combo class introduces tap & clogging, and the fundamentals of hip hop- all in ONE class- geared towards ages 5-7 who want to join a dance class for the first time and try both our most popular programs. This is a pop up class offered Mondays September 14th-October 5th. (no class Labor Day)
Dancers must wear clean sneakers. Bring tap shoes if you own them already but it is not required. Registration for this class comes with a Ground Control T-Shirt!

Titanium Beginner/Intermediate Hip Hop Team
Titanium is a beginner/intermediate hip hop team for dancers ages 12+ focusing on strong moves and technique. Dancers will learn routines with full formation changes/some stunt work and attend competitions. Some experience required.

Vibez Beginner Clogging Team
Vibez Clogging Team is our mighty beginner dancers who are invited to compete solos in the beginner level. All team dances, unless otherwise specified, will be competed in the beginner level. Vibez will attend 2-4 competitions. One time costume fee of $100 with a possible second charge for props/accessories.

Pulse Intermediate Clogging Team
The intermediate level clogging team at Ground Control is taught by Kali Payne. Dancers are required 2-3 dances and 2 solos to be learned, performed and competed. Dancers continue basic clogging step work, learn more double time footwork, and are introduced to more intricate intermediate team choreography.
-Costume fee required- $100.00 with a possible second fee if costumes surpass $100

Clogging I (Ages 4-6)
This Clogging class is offered to students ages 4 to 6. This is a great class for energetic little dancers who may love running around and tapping their toes! We teach early dance motor skills and introduce the basics of clog dancing, counting music and creating percussive rhythms. This class runs September-May and includes one-two recital performances. Tuition is $50 a month (we also offer sibling discounts!). A one time costume fee for the entire dance season of $95 is due in September after joining the class.
***Registration is $35 per dancer. Gently used clogging shoes are available throughout the year at Ground Control Studio. Brand new clogging shoes are available for purchase through Ground Control. $10-$95 for clogging shoes.

Musical Theatre (Ages 7-13)
Students will learn how to dance and sing to musicals and pop numbers. Professional singing coach Becca Bastow will be instructing students on proper singing training while learning to read music. National Champion instructor/dancer and former JIVE choreographer Hailey Hillstead will teach beginner level choreography. Together our coaches partner to teach vocals, dance skills and give acting instruction along the way. It's always a blast!
***Costume Fee required. Dancers are required to have black jazz shoes for all classes and performances.

This hip hop class is by audition only. Adrenaline Hip Hop Team is for those who have danced hip hop for several years and have controlled, strong movements. Choreography taught is fast, intricate, and demanding. Dancers will learn formation routines and compete.

This is a NEW class offered to advanced+ students at Ground Control offering other percussive and dance styles and to learn more performance choreography from tap, to ballroom, to jazz. Guest Instructors may be brought in as well. Dancers should come ready to move and should have clogging or tap shoes, and jazz or ballet flats, however it's not required.

This higher advanced level clogging team at Ground Control is taught by Adison Hillstead and practices twice a week. Dancers are required 3-5 dances, all 5 All Around Solos AND either a freestyle OR a Cappella to be learned, performed and competed. Dancers know toe steps, hop doubles, basic and buck styling and fast rhythm step work and are introduced to rhythm changes and champ level intricate advanced footwork and team choreography.
-Costume fees required- $100 for September with a possible second/third fee once final pricing is calculated

Dancers know and perform all styles of clogging and power tap including basic, buck styling, fast rhythm step work, Canadian, rhythm changes, toe steps, tap, jazz, hip hop, drill and intricate championship level footwork and team choreography.

This is our elite national champion pro level clogging team at Ground Control taught by both Adison and Hailey Hillstead and practices two days a week. Dancers typically have to have danced for 8-10 years before being invited to join.

All 5 All Around Solos AND either a freestyle OR aCappella

Freestyle AND a Capella AND at least one long duet.
Dancers know and perform all styles of clogging and power tap including basic, buck styling, fast rhythm step work, Canadian, rhythm changes, hop doubles, tap, pullbacks, Irish, toe steps and adapt quickly to intricate pro footwork, hip hop, jazz, drill, and pro team choreography.
-Costume fees required- $100 for September with 2-4 more fees once final pricing is calculated
