PW/PC/Adult Champ Soft Shoe
Dancers must be in FULL Prizewinner for their soft shoe dances to register for this class. Dancers may still be competing in Prizewinner, but ready to work at a high level.
This class works at the preliminary championship level, introducing dancers to 3 steps for each dance and NO light jig. Dancers prepare for the transition to prelim and the additional stamina, stage presence, and larger stages at the championship level. The dancers in Prizewinner and making the transition to prelim will train alongside our adult championship dancers and dancers already in prelim to follow a training plan that closely follows the OC classes.

This class introduces Irish dance skills and basic technique through integrating music, colors, numbers, and shapes for a playful and developmentally appropriate dance class.

Our staff is equipped to help shy dances and apprehensive dancers come into class and slowly start to participate.
*Must have 4 dancers by September 1 to run. If there are not enough dancers, Tiny Jig classes will be combined.

Advanced Beginner Hard Shoe
For dancers new to hard shoe and dancers who have taken Advanced Beginner in 2026-2027 who need a bit more time before advancing to Novice.
AB Hard Shoe is where hard shoe skills and fundamentals are born. If a dancer can learn their hard shoe skills with strong attention to detail in this class, their future is hard shoe will be much easier. This class will spend quite a bit of time at the beginning of the year learning and repeating basic hard shoe movements that will build to their first treble jig steps. Dancers who are repeating AB HS will continue their work on their treble jig at a faster speed/tempo.
Towards the midpoint of the year, dancers will be introduced to the hornpipe. Dancers who are repeating AB HS will continue working on their hornpipe steps at a faster speed/tempo.
This class always has a helper to facilitate working in two groups where speeds and experience differ.

PW/PC/Adult Championship Hard Shoe
To register for this class you must be at least full Prizewinner in hard shoe dances. Dancers may still be competing in Prizewinner, but ready to work at a high level.
This class works at the preliminary championship level, introducing dancers to 3 steps for each dance and only slow speeds for treble jig and hornpipe. Dancers will have a more complex vocabulary of rhythms to master across both time signatures and coming in with a strong foundation is critical.
Dancers prepare for the transition to prelim and the additional stamina, stage presence, and larger stages at the championship level. The dancers in Prizewinner and making the transition to prelim will train alongside our adult championship dancers and dancers already in prelim to follow a training plan that closely follows the OC classes.
