Each assessment runs between 30 and 90 minutes depending on level.
Additional focused training (on dates stated above) is scheduled for ATOD candidates. Additional training is invoiced together with regular tuition Term 3. There is a theory component for candidates in BRONZE MEDAL to GOLD STAR. Each candidate requires a theory booklet which contains all levels from Bronze Medal to Gold Star. The cost of the booklet is included in the registration fee and paid once only in the first year of exams.
To support candidates in their practice at home we set up individual BANDS for each level. BAND is an app with high security settings that can be installed on mobile devices or laptops. ATOD provides 2 options for assessment which means that formal assessment is available to everyone. We’ll guide you as to the more appropriate option.
Option 1 Report with feedback showing all skills, grading, medal and ATOD certificate. This option is suitable for students who are confident of all set material and theory and have achieved a minimum standard of 'pass' in all technical sections.
Option 2 Report with feedback showing all skills, medal and ATOD certificate (NO grading, NO percentage mark). This option is available to all students, no matter their level of expertise, but particularly suitable for
