Our Modern Class with Miranda Stepchuk is open to intermediate to Intermediate dancers ages 9-12.

Miranda Stepchuk is currently dancing with Whirlwind Dance Company in Columbus, OH. She graduated from Hope College with a BA in Dance Performance and Choreography. Previously she was a member of H2 Dance Co and Striketime Dance Co. She has trained and worked with Joshua Manulich, Matthew Farmer, Sharon Wong, and Kara Brems. Miranda has had the pleasure of performing "One" and "We're Just Getting Started" by Sharon Wong, "Sur La Solitude et la Logique" and "Rite of Spring" by Matthew Farmer, and "Conform Me Not" by Jasmine Meija. She has performed internationally at La Centre de Danse du Marais with a work choreographed by William Crowley. In addition, Miranda had the pleasure of working with artists Heather Cornell in a piece called “Okwami” that centered around body percussion and polyrhythms, and Kara Brems in a modern work titled “Femina.”

Miranda is a choreographer and teacher as well. She has had the privilege to choreograph a piece called "Climb the Ladder," which was showcased at the Whirlwind Residency Showcase and Whirlwind Soliloquy. She has taught and choreographed at Dublin Dance Centre and Gymnastics, and the Dance Centre Inc. She specializes in modern dance, contemporary, jazz dance, and improvisation.
