He is one of the co-founders of 5th Wall Productions, a community theatre project recently back from hiatus which has found a new home at the Old Trolley Theatre. While 5th Wall was on hiatus he served as Artistic and Technical Director for The Flowertown Players during their award-winning 46th and 47th seasons. He previously curated the young playwrights program at Threshold Repertory Theatre. He has over 30 years experience in live theatre. His work as a writer has been seen on stage with three local companies. As an actor, director, and designer he has worked on hundreds of productions.

This class is designed for actors who have some on-stage experience and are looking to dig deeper into scene study and acting techniques. Students will read and practice monologues and scenes. Some home study will be expected. This class requires a minimum of 6 students.
Lyn's Bio:
A NJ native, Lyn has performed and written in the NYC area. She has a theater degree from Rutgers University and studied Meisner Technique at NYC's Maggie Flanigan Studio. Lyn has been a part of Flowertown Players since 2022, playing Kate in Brighton Beach Memoirs and Soccer Mom in The Wolves. She will be directing their fall studio show, Three Days of Rain. She most recently played Kate in Sylvia at 5th Wall Productions, where she also serves as literary manager.

Jason Olsen
This class is designed for new actors as well as those looking to brush up on their skills or get back to basics. Students will review acting and stagecraft terms and techniques. They will apply what they have learned to performing scenes, preparing monologues, diving into the process of auditioning, and learning how to break into the local theatre scene. This class requires a minimum of 6 students.
Jason's Bio:
Originally from Massachusetts, Jason has been working on and off stage in the Charleston are since 2012 - writing, directing, and crafting his way through many local theatrical companies. He is one of the co-founders of 5th Wall Productions, a community theatre project recently back from hiatus which has found a new home at the Old Trolley Theatre. While 5th Wall was on hiatus he served as Artistic and Technical Director for The Flowertown Players during their award-winning 46th and 47th seasons. He previously curated the young playwrights program at Threshold Repertory Theatre. He has over 30 years experience in live theatre. His work as a writer has been seen on stage with three local companies. As an actor, director, and designer he has worked on hundreds of productions.
