This introductory class is for children 24-36 mo. This is for children who are ready to try out a movement/ dance class without a parent participating with them. Our class is 30 minutes and we work with the children on coordination, rhythm and balance while using upbeat and appropriate music. We will have a Winter and Spring recital complete with costumes! Ballet shoes required. But no other special clothing is needed.

Vestavia Civic Toddler and Me (18-24months)

Toddler & Me dance classes are for children 18 months up to the age of 3 years. Music, movement, balance and the basic dance steps are introduced in a fun, friendly and positive manner. This type of class includes mom or dad or another loved one participating in the class along with the little dancer. Our teachers will keep the music and curriculum moving along while parents take an active role in encouraging, supporting and keeping the little dancer on track. Ballet slippers are suggested for proper foot movement. However, they are not required for this age.
Ages 1.5 - 3
