This fun and imaginative introductory dance class is designed especially for our youngest dancers! Pre-Ballet introduces children to the basics of movement and dance in a nurturing, positive, and age-appropriate environment.

Through creative movement, music, games, and simple ballet exercises, dancers will develop coordination, balance, flexibility, rhythm, and listening skills. Students will also begin learning basic ballet terminology, classroom etiquette, and how to follow directions while building confidence and independence.

Our goal is to foster a love of dance while encouraging creativity, social interaction, and self-expression. This class is perfect for young dancers who are ready to explore movement, make new friends, and have fun in a supportive classroom setting.

No prior dance experience is required!

Ballet/Jazz (Ages 5–6)

This fun and energetic combination class introduces dancers to two popular styles of dance: Ballet and Jazz. Class time is divided between both styles, allowing dancers to learn the fundamentals of each while building a strong foundation for future dance training.

Dancers will work on basic ballet positions, terminology, posture, balance, and coordination, as well as jazz technique including kicks, turns, jumps, and expressive movement. Through age-appropriate activities, music, and games, students will also develop important skills such as listening, counting, rhythm, flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, and classroom etiquette.

This class is perfect for young dancers who are ready to explore dance, make new friends, build confidence, and have fun in a positive and encouraging environment.

Hip Hop (Ages 5–7)

Get ready to move, groove, and have fun! This high-energy class introduces young dancers to the exciting world of Hip Hop in a positive and age-appropriate environment.

Dancers will learn basic hip hop movements, rhythm, musicality, and coordination while building confidence and creativity. Through fun combinations, games, and activities, students will develop important skills such as listening, following directions, counting music, balance, coordination, and strength.

This class encourages self-expression, teamwork, and having fun while learning the foundations of hip hop dance. No previous dance experience is required. Just bring your energy and enthusiasm!

This class focuses on developing a strong foundation in classical ballet technique while fostering grace, discipline, confidence, and a love of dance. Dancers will learn proper ballet terminology, posture, alignment, flexibility, balance, coordination, and musicality through barre work, center exercises, and across-the-floor combinations.

Students will continue to build strength, technique, and artistry while learning how to apply movement quality, expression, and performance skills. Class activities are designed to improve focus, body awareness, and overall dance technique in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Ballet is highly recommended for all dancers, as it provides the technical foundation that supports success in many other dance styles, including jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theatre.

In the ballet portion of class, dancers will work on posture, balance, flexibility, coordination, and basic ballet positions and terminology. During tap, students will learn foundational tap steps, rhythm, timing, musicality, and how to create sounds and patterns with their feet.

Through music, movement, and age-appropriate games and activities, dancers will also build important skills such as listening, counting, following directions, confidence, coordination, and classroom etiquette.

This class is perfect for young dancers who love to move, learn, and have fun while exploring multiple styles of dance in a positive and encouraging environment.

Intermediate Acro

Intermediate Acro is designed for dancers who have mastered basic acro skills and are ready to progress to more advanced flexibility, strength, balance, limbering, tumbling, and acrobatic techniques. This class combines safe acrobatics training with dance-based movement, helping students develop control, coordination, body awareness, and confidence.

Dancers will continue working on skills such as walkovers, limbers, ariels, back handsprings, headsprings, balance skills, flexibility, and strength while learning proper technique and skill progression. Emphasis is placed on safe execution, correct body alignment, and building the strength necessary for more advanced acrobatic elements.

Prerequisite: Dancers must be able to perform a standing backbend independently (without assistance), simple front limber, backbend kick over preferred, to enroll in this class. Additional skills may be assessed by the instructor to ensure proper class placement.

This class is ideal for students looking to challenge themselves, improve their acro technique, and continue advancing their acrobatic skill set in a safe and supportive environment.

Tap Level 1 introduces dancers to the exciting art of creating rhythm and sound through movement. This class focuses on building a strong foundation in tap technique while developing musicality, coordination, timing, and confidence.

Dancers will learn and practice fundamental tap steps, terminology, rhythm patterns, and combinations while exploring how tap dancers use their feet as a percussion instrument. Students will work on improving balance, coordination, listening skills, counting music, and overall performance quality.

Class activities are designed to help dancers understand rhythm and timing while encouraging creativity, focus, and self-expression in a fun and supportive environment. Whether a dancer is new to tap or continuing to build their skills, this class provides a strong technical foundation for future tap training.

No previous tap experience is required unless otherwise noted by the instructor.

Contemporary ages 7-11
Contemporary introduces dancers to the expressive and creative style of contemporary dance while building a strong technical foundation. This class combines elements of ballet, jazz, and modern dance to help students develop fluid movement, musicality, artistry, and self-expression.

Dancers will learn basic contemporary technique, including floor work, balance, flexibility, strength, turns, jumps, and movement quality. Students will also explore concepts such as storytelling through movement, emotional expression, improvisation, and connecting movement to music.

Class exercises and combinations are designed to improve coordination, flexibility, and performance skills while encouraging dancers to develop their own artistic voice in a supportive and positive environment.

This class is perfect for dancers who are interested in exploring a more expressive style of dance while continuing to build their overall technique and confidence.
