Pointe Lab: Pointe 1 & 2
## POINTE LAB
**Level 1 Pointe+ | Ballet Level 3+**
**Your goals. Your pointe shoes. Your time to work.**
Pointe Lab is a new **independent studio practice opportunity** designed for dancers who are ready to take greater ownership of their training.
Each Pointe Lab begins with a **video-guided, progressive warm-up** designed to safely prepare the feet, ankles, legs, and core for pointe work. After warming up, dancers will have dedicated studio space to work independently on the areas they want to strengthen and improve.
Dancers can use their Pointe Lab time to:
* Strengthen pointe technique and build endurance
* Practice exercises and corrections from their regular ballet and pointe classes
* Work toward individual technical goals
* Review combinations, variations, or choreography
* Improve balance, control, articulation, and confidence en pointe
* Develop the discipline of intentional, self-directed practice
**Important:** Pointe Lab is **not an instructor-led class or a replacement for regular ballet and pointe training.** It is structured independent practice time for dancers who already have the training and maturity to work safely on previously learned material.
Who Can Participate?
Open to dancers enrolled in **Ballet Level 3 or higher** who are also **Level 1 Pointe or higher**.
Why Pointe Lab?
Progress doesn’t only happen when a teacher is giving corrections. It also happens when dancers learn to **apply those corrections, set goals, repeat intentionally, and take ownership of their growth.** Dancers in this lab work to apply corrections given in other pointe classes and are occasionally asked to submit video for instructor feedback.
**Pointe Lab gives dancers the space to do exactly that.**. This class is available at no additional cost for dancers taking at least 3 ballet/pointe classes each week.
