Tiny Dancers: (4-6) A 45 minute class for pre-schoolers containing ballet, tap, and creative movement. Dancers learn and perform both a Tap & Ballet routine in the end of the year recital.
Dancers will learn ballet movements and tap steps and terminology while exploring their own creative movement styles through the use of imaginative music and games in a safe, positive environment. Dancers in this class will improve flexibility and coordination through fun, age-appropriate movement, and exercises. Students will also work on classroom skills such as following directions, listening, and working with others. It is highly recommended that Tiny Dancer students be at least 4 by September 1st. Students younger than this should consider the Twirling Toddler or Tumble & Twirl class for their first dance experience.
