Includes a fun and creative warm-up in following the instructor while introducing more ballet vocabulary in this class. The center floor is used to work on making straight lines and introducing 2 lines to learn about spacing. Students will learn how to use the barre and work on proper posture when demonstrating the ballet technique. Balance and coordination are required for this class. Class always ends with a ballet reverence.

Class requirement: Hair pulled back in a bun with DanzStar leotard and skin tone tights. Ballet skin tone shoes as well.


Our bible study will occur with a scripture and an activity the last week of each month to incorporate our faith foundation and share the love of God with our students. Please encourage your child to memorize the bible verse throughout the month when received at the beginning of the month.

Students will learn proper techniques such as body isolations, improvement of movement quality, and the development of complex rhythms and patterns. The class will cover various jazz styles, including Broadway and Contemporary, to help students become well-developed dancers. The curriculum is based on ballet techniques with traditional jazz movements and includes a proper warm-up, stretches, across-the-floor exercises, progressions, and combinations.

Class Uniform:
Students are required to wear a leotard, skin-colored tights, tan jazz shoes, and jazz shorts. Hair should be neatly pulled back. You can purchase the uniform package at the DanzStar Store.

Our Contemporary Dance Class blends emotional expression with strong technical foundations rooted in modern movement. Dancers will explore contraction and release, fall and recovery, and dynamic floorwork techniques while learning to move with strength, fluidity, and intention. This class encourages creativity, storytelling, and body awareness through expressive choreography and improvisation. Designed for all levels, students will build confidence, flexibility, and artistry in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Welcome to **Joyful Jumpers (Ages 2–4)**—a magical introduction to movement, music, and early ballet! In this playful and nurturing class, our littlest dancers explore the joy of dance through imaginative storytelling, gentle ballet basics, and creative movement activities designed just for them.

Dancers will twirl, stretch, and leap as they learn foundational ballet skills in a fun and engaging way. Using colorful props like hula hoops, flowing ribbons, and whimsical wings, children are encouraged to express themselves, build confidence, and spark their creativity. Each class is filled with music, rhythm, and interactive adventures that keep young dancers moving and smiling.

Our caring instructors guide students through age-appropriate activities that support coordination, balance, listening skills, and social development—all while making dance an exciting and joyful experience.

Hip-hop dance is all about energy, rhythm, and self-expression! Dancers will explore foundational hip-hop styles and grooves while developing confidence, coordination, musicality, timing, and body control. Through fun and engaging choreography, students will build muscle memory, learn how to move with the music, and develop the skills needed to perform dynamic hip-hop routines with style and confidence.

Level I will help the dancer learn the fundamentals of hip hop and elements to enhance the movements.

Class Uniform:
Grab a T-shirt and hip-hop sneakers from DanzStar, and wear them with black leggings. Keep your hair neat and out of your face. Don't forget to bring a water bottle!

Hip-Hop dance is all about rhythm, energy, and self-expression! Dancers will explore foundational hip-hop styles, grooves, and movements while building strength, coordination, and confidence. Students will develop muscle memory, timing, musicality, and body control while learning fun, high-energy choreography and bringing their own unique style to every routine. This level is for dancers who have hip hop training and background.

Our class requires a lot of energy and cardio while working your core for the breakdancing. Joining this class will help you make new friends and enjoy the technique, fluidity, and musicality of the hip-hop moves.
