Fusion class students get to experience the sheer joy and rhythm of tap along with the beautiful, graceful foundation of ballet, along with creative dance elements to add even more spark! We will continue to build on previous years' experience and technique.
PREREQUISITE: Fusion 1-3 or catch-up classes and/or instructor's approval.
DRESS CODE: Girls: black leotard, pink tights, black or pink ballet skirt if desired. Pink leather, full-soled ballet shoes. Black Velcro-closure tap shoes. Hair must be in a bun (if hair is too short to put in a bun, it must be secured out of the face.) Boys: black T-shirt, black dance pants or sweat pants, black ballet and tap shoes. Ballet’s strength, balance, and flexibility are foundational to many types of dance, so there is no better place to begin and ballet will always be a beautiful place to develop and grow in dance! (Please be aware that it sometimes takes two years to work through one level.)

Theatre Arts (ages 9 & up)
This class will let you or your student experience the joy that acting brings to your life and the lives of others! We will delve into the tools you need to bring a character to life, how to use your dramatic giftings to honor God, emoting to reach an audience, and the principles of blocking and stage movement. You will learn to bring color to the black-and-white words of a script and so much more! Your experience will culminate in acting in our spring show where we incorporate acting, dance, and music. There are also parts available in our Christmas production which takes place at the Festival of Trees the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The only drama we want in our lives is on the stage, and this is where we learn how to make drama fun and enriching!
PREREQUISITE: None.

Students will love the energy and excitement of Jazz dance in a God-honoring atmosphere. We will explore Broadway-style and classic jazz styles in this class that is full of energy and showcases a dancer's individual style and originality. A strong Ballet background is a key to mastering Jazz technique so previous or current ballet training is recommended.
PREREQUISITE: Jazz 1-4 or instructor approval. Previous or current ballet training is recommended but not required.
DRESS CODE: Girls: black leotard, pink or tan tights, black biker-style shorts or leggings, ballet skirt OK. Tan or black jazz shoes. Hair must be in a bun (if hair is too short to put in a bun, it must be secured out of the face.)

Contemporary 4 ages 11 & up
Contemporary dance grew out of Jazz, modern, ballet, and lyrical and borrows elements of all of them as well as other styles. It also has its own unique technique which includes strong and controlled legwork, contractions and release, more use of flexed feet, and floor work. Changes in rhythm, speed, and direction, as well as improvisation are all a part of Contemporary. This exciting style is full of emotion, musicality, and personal expression. You're going to love this class! It is highly recommended that students enrolled in this class also take ballet or have some ballet background.
PREREQUISITE: Previous Contemporary, Ballet, or Jazz training and/or instructor approval.
Prerequisite for Contemporary 2 is Contemporary 1 and/or some previous ballet or jazz, and may require an evaluation by the instructor.

We love working with adults and older teens! This class will provide a truly enjoyable environment for working on fitness, improving your technique, core control, alignment, posture, confidence, and flexibility, and it will refuel you as you invest in yourself.
PREREQUISITE: A little previous ballet experience is helpful but not required. Beginners to advanced students are welcome in this class. We can give different levels different combinations to accommodate various levels of training.
DRESS CODE: No leotard and tights are required (though I'm happy to see them if you have them)! Solid color (preferably black) form-fitting clothing is necessary to check your alignment. This can include stretch pants and a non-baggy T-shirt.

We are located at 137 Chambeau Rd in the F&M Tile building, across Lima Road from Penske Truck Rental. We are in the lower level, which is down a flight of stairs without handicapped accessibility. Enter through the glass entryway off of Chambeau Rd. On your right, there is a spiral staircase which leads to our space. If you prefer, once inside, you can turn left, to the end of the hall, and turn right to take the long staircase to the other end of our space.
