Musical Theatre 12+
Beginning to beginning/intermediate level for dancers 12+ registered in technique levels I/II. We require dancers to take at least one other technique class (ballet, contemporary, or jazz) in order to participate in this class. This class also performs in recitals.
Musical theatre dancing is less of a particular style, and more of a description of dancing that is rooted in the diverse history of Broadway musicals. Based in the techniques of ballet and jazz, musical theater dancers are, first and foremost, actors and place a high focus on musical interpretation.
Ages 12 - 18

Pre-Pointe
Dancers ages 10+ only. Pre-Pointe prepares dancers for Pointe work by building strength and technique necessary to dance safely en pointe. This class is also recommended for anyone who would like to improve strength, technique, and articulation of the foot and ankles to enhance their technique training, even if they are not interested in going en pointe in the future.
This class will consist of one half of the class doing pre-pointe, and the other half of dancers brand new to pointe. Must have advanced permission to take this class on pointe. Please email us.
This class does not perform in recitals.
