SCS SPRING MUSICAL
SPRING MUSICAL
Join Intro to the Arts for our SCS Spring Musical! Students will rehearse, learn music, choreography, blocking, and acting while working together toward two fully staged performances.
**Costumes are included with registration.** All students who audition are cast!
Weekly Rehearsals:
Auditions: February 22nd
Cast List: February 24th
First Practice: Wednesday March 9th
**Mondays:** 3:15–4:30 PM
**Wednesdays:** 3:15–4:30 PM
Regular attendance is important, especially as we get closer to performance weekend. Please let us know as soon as possible if your child will need to miss a rehearsal.
### Mandatory Tech Week
**May 10–14**
**3:15–5:00 PM daily**
Tech Week is **mandatory for all cast members**. During this week, students will rehearse the full production with costumes, staging, props, music, and technical elements.
Performances:
**Friday, May 15 at 6:30 PM**
**Saturday, May 16 at 2:00 PM**
Performance-day call times and additional show-day details will be provided to families closer to the production.
What Registration Includes:
• Weekly musical theater rehearsals
• Acting, singing, choreography, and stage training
• Costume for the production
• Tech Week rehearsals
• Two fully staged performances
• Performance materials and production supplies
Important Commitment Information:
By registering, families are committing to the weekly rehearsal schedule, mandatory Tech Week, and both performances. Consistent attendance is especially important in a musical because each cast member plays a part in the success of the entire production.
Additional rehearsal information, costume details, performance reminders, and production updates will be shared with registered families throughout the program.
We can’t wait to create something amazing together!
