TAP/BALLET/TUMBLE is an introductory class that teaches the basics of each dance form. Ballet will include learning positions, flexibility, through creative movement including motor skills. Tap is fun and provides a sense of rhythm, timing, and coordination. In tumbling students will learn skills to increase strength, and overall flexibility and will learn things like bear walks, crab walks, log rolls, forward rolls and cartwheels.

Pre-Acro is an introductory class that teaches the basics of acrobatics. Acro is one of many building blocks to increase a dancers’ strength. In our acro class, your child will learn the basics of tumbling; such as building core strength, increasing flexibility, learning tools to perform moves safely, and executing tricks (forward rolls, cartwheels, back walkovers, etc) confidently.

BALLET helps dancers gain grace, balance, strength, and flexibility. Dancers will learn positions at the barre and in the center and learn the basic vocabulary of the style. Ballet is the base of all dance forms and is imperative to a dancers training.

JAZZ dance is based on the techniques of ballet, modern and African dance and is set to upbeat music. This dance form promotes strength, flexibility, coordination and the ability to move and control each part of the body. Students will go across the floor as well as learn combinations to help them pick up choreography.
